^i'm sure pwede naman na hindi manual yun books of accounts.  i-audit naman yan pag sinubmit ang ITR sa BIR diba?  naisip ko lang, although i'm no BIR expert. 

same question on renewal.  i never renewed my license since it expired a long time ago.  i lost it more than 5 years ago.

hi sis!  I renewed my license last Feb 09 nag expire na siya nung June 2008.  I paid a few hundred more than the renewal fee.  I can't remember lang talaga the exact amount.  For example, 500 ang renewal tapos 10 years nang expire yung license mo parang you have to pay something like 100 for each year.  So you'll be paying 1,500.  The way I see it hindi naman siya penalty parang they charge you lang for what you should have paid when a professional renews her license every 3 years.  Hope this helps.

Baket saken, July 2008 pa expired yung PRC ID ko, nagrenew ako nung mga August 2009 parang nakita ko Php630 lang. P600 ata yung renewal fee tapos me surcharge lang for late filing na P30. Natuwa nga ako kasi sabi ng tatay ko, malaki daw yung binayaran niya nung nagrenew siya nung kanya. (iba profession niya)

^It was just an illustration if you were able to read my post well.  You will notice the word "for example".  And if you renewed your license in July 2008 for sure you will not be paying 600 it must be lesser than that.

I too only paid 630.  My license expired June 2008 and was able to renew it last Feb 2009.  As I can see it in the slip from PRC the years covered are 2008-2012 and the amount corresponds that period is 600 and the surcharge of 30.

If your license expired in 1990 and you happened to register in 2009 only, the years covered will be 1990-2012 and definitely its not just 600.  I'm sure about that because PRC employees have a list of the amount and the year with which the ID expired when I transacted with them.  Hope this helps.

Yung sa stat ng auditors sa auditing firms, medyo natawa naman ako dun. Well, me katotohan nga siya.  Kasi nung una kong salang sa audit, bokya lovelife.  Bukod sa pinipimples ako, (So walang guts makipagdate) walang time magpaganda.  After nun nagtry ako magprivate, in fairness, umariba lovelife ko nun.  At wala na din pimples. Kaso narealize ko, mas okay pala maging single, so asa audit ako ulet ngayon.

Same here wala din love life nung sa audit and now nasa private na ako at happy ang love life. Hehe

hay sus mga sister kapag nasa audit ka ang lovelife mo tigang mabuti na lang at pinag resign ako ng tatay ko dyan kasi naman 2days na walang uwian tapos nung umuwi para lang kumuha ng damit kasi aariba na naman sa inventory count na yan at submission ng mga reports.

since napag usapan na din ang renew ng lisensya tanong ko naman nawala kasi yung lisensya ko at expire nya aug 2009. uuwi ako ng dec sa pinas to get a new one and feeling ko masyadong hassle kung magdeclare ako ng loss or puede ko na lang gamitin yung old license ko and declare na ngayon lang ako mag renew aug 2006 yung huling renew ko.

ACCA po ay Association of Certified Chartered Accountant not so sure kung meron na nyan sa pinas.

^mami violy, yes I think mahirap if you declared that you lost your PRC id.  For sure meron pang affidavit of loss yan.  But wouldn't they have it in their database that you were issued a new card which covers 2006-2009?

What we have here is PICPA--Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  I believe yan ang counterpart ng ACCA dito.


A new discovery about the late renewal of the PRC id.  If hindi pala late its 450 lang ang renewal.  And since 1 year late ako I was charged 600, an additional of 150.  It goes to show na 150 pala ang annual na fee ng CPAs kasi 450 divide by 3 is 150.

sis iba ang PICPA sa ACCA kasi ang ACCA para syang certificate na may mga pag-aaralan ka din na mga subject ang PICPA kasi association or regulatory sya para sa mga CPA sa pinas ang ACCA worldwide sya kaya nga I'm planning to take this one just in case na malipat kami ulit ng ibang bansa

its better na kuha na lang ako ng affidavit sabhin ko sa pinas nawala kahit dito sa SG sya nawala para less expense mahal kasi magpa affidavit dito eh

Hello mga sisses!  My hubby is ACCA, his accounting qualification.  I'm not so certain if this is the same qualification you're talking about.  He took it while working.  ACCA is recognised as a Master's Degree here in the UK, might be useful if you apply for HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrant Programme) visa.  I think the exam can be taken in Sri Lanka and Hong Kong as well.

Question mga sisses, I have not sorted out my PRC license for more than 5 years now, what do I need to do?  I have lost my old ID as well.  How much do I need to pay tsaka malaki ba ang penalty?  Also, I haven't paid my dues sa PICPA.  Is it possible that I can assign my kamag-anak to sort them out?

sis Remi same here I havent paid my dues at PICPA last month nag inquire ako sa kanila they said I need to pay Php1,000.00 to re-instate my membership then another Php1,000.00 for the current year membership.

RE: PRC ID I think sis gawin mo na lang din ang gagawin ko declare mo na nawala sa pinas then bayad ka din penalty

kung kamag-anak ang gagawa ng lahat ng ito dapat daw may POA syang hawak.

not so sure with the rest of the requirements maybe other sis here can help you more.

hello help naman mga sis kasi gusto ko sana renew yung cert ko sa BOA kasi na expired last March at need ko ng cert for CPE pano ba ito. overseas worker po ako at may mga updates naman ako sa field natin.
