I am planning to enroll in a French class nex month.  I'm torn between U.P. and Alliance Française de Manille.  I'm sooo excited!

I just called TESDA. wala daw sila open for language course for now, since marami parin waiting list so di muna sila magpaparegister. may alam pa ba kayo na free or mura lang within metro manila preferrably manila, q.c or makati yung may certificate?
anong best language na pwede ko pag aralan? im pure blooded filipina, but i wanted to learn some languages, ano kaya yung mas magagamit ko? mas wide yung paggagamitan ko aside sa english? thank you so much. :-)

For those who speak another language, what are you doing right now to make the most out of it?

Right now I am housewife. I speak English, Mandarin, Fookien, Spanish and Nihonggo. Mandarin and Fookien as well as English, I talk to my hubby most of the time and my friends too. As for Spanish, I talk to my grandmother who still speak Spanish. Nihonggo, talk to my Japanese friends.

Are the job opportunities really better? Do they offer higher compensation for the same job? 

I must say the compensation is better and you will have better chance of getting the job. In my case, my work requires a lot of travel in Asian countries. Mas malaki chance ko na ipadala sa mga Chinese speaking countries kasi advantage na yun para sa kanila. Di na nila need ng interpreter. And mas marketable ka I think if you know other language rin kasi,

^sis nag-enroll ako kanina! Marami pang slots and parang tatlo pa lang ang nasa mandarin module 1 na 8-11am sched. Enroll ka na!

^Tama sis, self-help learner din ako ng german, pero i can make conversations fluently with a german. basta lagi lang makipag-converse, madali nang matutunan yung language.
