^Well, kung gahaman silang institusyon eh di they will let students enrol for profit kahit obvious naman na hindi natututo yung tao. But what's the point of teaching someone who doesn't have the faculty for learning languages? That kind of logic is FAIL on all levels. Instituto Cervantes has high standards and it's the Spanish government along with the European Union who sets the learning framework and the exam, so wala talagang lusot. Pag bagsak, bagsak.

^ agree, wala naman ako kontra. Nais ko nga na ganito ang patakaran upang lalong magpursige ang mga mag-aaral na umusad. I found it unbelievable at first because I have never been in contact with someone who did, I guess magaling batch. Pag sobresaliente, sobresaliente.

For those who are interested for TTh schedule, last enrolment date is on Tuesday, July 7. Start of classes is on July 9.

For those who are interested to learn Nihonggo, there might be a level 5 next year so better pass the proficiency exam for level 4 this year.

^hi pomegranate, could you please help me out? i peeked at the instituto website, but parang ang gulo ng scheds.  i'm interested in weekend classes sana. does a level/course run for 3 months?  and would you know when the weekend classes start?  thanks much.

^ ngee ayaw? sorry ok naman sakin. Anyway, transcribe ko na lang. The next schedule for the extensive (Saturdays) program is from August 22 to October 31. Last day of enrollment is on August 19.

^ Well, yes. It depends really, but to be objective enough, Level 5 Spanish in DLSU Benilde is equivalent more or less to Level 2 Spanish in Instituto. Added to that (this is pretty subjective) is the pressure to pass each level (you might have read the previous entries), the instructors who'll ambush you in the hallways, the various resources (includes DVDs; if you are currently enrolled, you'll not be charged for library access; cool noh? In Alliance Francaise, I have to pay P900 library fee apart from the enrollment fee  ) in the library and the people who shares your enthusiasm to learn the language.

If you have ample time for semi-intensive/intensive weekday classes, I think mas mabilis pag grasp ng language. Pag every Saturdays lang kase baka ang tendency is only pick up on the language every Friday or Saturday itself.

3 absences are allowed but I think more likely there will be a final evaluation on the last meeting. Hope you'll have time

^waah i want to talaga!  hard for me kasi ang weekdays since i work nights.  

i studied in alliance too, many years ago...1 level lang then i stopped.  hirap kasi ng french lalo na wala naman ako kausap. at least spanish im sure i will be able to use it in the US sa CA.

i took up curso 1 in insituto cervantes. wasn't able to take up curso 2 due to my pregnancy. will continue nalang after i give birth siguro.

I learned Spanish a lot faster because it helped that we talked at home using that language...later on I tried to learn French but it was too much for good old moi! hehe...

Im currently taking Mandarin course sa TESDA Taguig.
I dont want to make reklamo kasi scholarship lang ito,free kumbaga but i dont think gagraduate ako na talagang kaya ng makipag converse.
Yung tinuturo saming vocabulary words eh hindi pang trabaho, school supplies,name of places,holiday greetings. Feeling ko nasayang oras ko dito.

so  now that i have a korean student in trouble with her spanish, i can't help her out.  she needs a tutor for spanish; if you can or know somebody who can teach her, please pm me.  she's a senior high school student at Brent, sobrang bait and magalang.  btw, she lives in ortigas.

^^just to give you an idea, at our school, we offer 25 hours of one-on-one teaching on your preferred language at P10K... that is our shortest term so far...

sis, ok dun. medyo pricey nga lang siya.. nakapag aral na ko pero it's been a long long time ago pa.nakalimutan ko na yung mga inaral ko..

ask ko lang sisses if may alam kayong french school or french classes na affordable lang. gusto ko sana mag enroll ulit sa alliance kaso mahal tapos ang layo pa.
