If anyone wants to study Spanish, I would suggest going to Instituto Cervantes.  I had a very good experience there

@ _katelicious_ : same here sis... although hanggang nivel 3 lang ako. lumipat na kasi ako ng work, so hindi ko na kailangan magstudy ng spanish. sulit ang fee! pati yung materials... and until now, pwede magborrow ng books, DVDs, & other materials from their library.

try buying [textspeak!] self study na CDs with course book an dictionary na un. meron sa national bookstore. i'm studying spanish right hehe but of course the most effective way is to go to the country or meron ka-practice everyday

i am planning to take up another language. still not sure whether french or spanish, though i think spanish would be quite easy for me since i'm of chavacano descent.. instituto cervantes offers affordable classes pa. kaya rin mas inclined ako sa spanish.

^ good for you sis... at elast alam mo n ayung basic & mas madlai kang matuto because of your descent. why not improve on you spanish first, kahit bili ka na lang ng audio materials sa bookstore. then enrol ka ng french! ;p

sis!!! u can try berlitz (makati) if u wanna learn Korean. They have good and professional instructor there.

I called up the admin here but sabi for students lang ito eh. Hindi puede yung nag crash course lang...

^ try going as an extension-student kasi hindi ka talagang "up student" kung language course lang. Ano bang language course ang hinahanap mo?

I took up French levels 1 and 2 in The Bridge, but i didn't finish the course. I had a very bad experience with this language school.

I think it's unfair to generalize the experience. I finished my third language there and I had a very fun learning experience. All my classmates went till level 5 and we were all happy that our language goals were met. I can say that their native instructors are the best! Personally I had a great experience with them and I'm thinking of investing for another language with The Bridge.
