i took classes until level 2.  ayos naman.  i was in china a few weeks ago at kaya ko nang mag-shopping at magtanong ng directions on my own.

Hi. I was in The Bridge a while ago, they oriented me regarding their mandarin class. It seems okay naman, and from the feedbacks here it looks like Bridge is a good choice for me. My other choice was Berlitz and Ateneo, the problem is with Berlitz 15 hours lang siya and with Ateneo 18 students per class so its hard to learn kasi too many students. I hope good choice na talaga ang Bridge. One more thing I like about Bridge besides the native teachers and their nice atmosphere and personnel is that they provide books and mp3's for free...

I'll start next year and maybe I'll be taking the Saturday class. I need to reserve first next week and pay half the tuition and sana umabot ako before they close the class. anyone here have the same sched?

Any more infos regarding Bridge?

By the way, I saw a question here asking if there's a school in the South area. I know one, but I think they only have Mandarin class. it's in Festival mall, the school's name is A-plus. The tuition is really expensive though, 10k for a group class. I don't know for how many hours either and I don't know anything else about this school. If anyone has any feedbacks please share it here. Thank you!

wow! good for you sis.   china is booming now.  kaya i think it's a good choice to move there.  andun ka na ba by the time the beijing olympics start?

^lol.  I don't know sis, actually, it will depend talaga if ok na ko mag mandarin.  And I don't think na matututo ako ng agad-agad.  I only stayed for 5 days there, pero feel na feel ko mabuhay dun.  Ang mura ng bilihin and even ng rent for a condo unit.   I enjoyed doing groceries and take-outs sa mcdo, maski paturo-turo lang ako sa menu. lol.

Also in HK, I would also love to work there.  Pero ganun din, required ang manda or cantonese.

wow sis.. you're so lucky.. I want to work there in China also or in HK.. its hard nga lang to find work cause they want natives or those who can speak fluently na e im starting to learn the language pa lang... ang lively nga sa HK sobra.. sa China din ba same atmosphere?

^Mas lively sa HK syempre, kagandahan lang, more than an hour lang, nasa HK na kami.  Sabi nila, mas maganda ang Shanghai, Beijing and Macau.  Near Shenzhen lang yung pinag-stay-an namin.  Wala pa naman job sis, di pa guaranteed since hehe, di pa ko marunong ng language nila.  Pero if ever, (sana), as office staff/clerk, si BF kasi andun na, kaya pinagsisiksikan ko sarili ko dun. lol.  Ang totoo, di sila nagha hire ng foreigner for clerical position, pero dahil nga kay BF, pwede nila ko ihire, yun nga lang, i need to learn muna manda.

Ilan hours ba sa The Bridge?  And how much?  Sayang kasi, meron daw sa UP, P3.6k lang ata, kaso di na ata open for non-students.  Yung every sat ba na sched, ok lang? I mean, di ba parang ang hirap mag refresh ng lessons kung every sat lang ang class?

karamihan kasi sa mga chinese, hindi madaling magtiwala sa hindi nakakaintindi ng salita nila.  it's not really a bad thing.  it's just the way they are.  parang ang saya ngang tumira dun diba?  isa siyang malaking chinatown.   good luck sis!  nuod ka ng mga series para masanay ka.  ang language naman kasi, skill.  pag hindi mo siya nagagamit, hindi siya nae-enhance.  kaya practice lang. may pag-asa tayo!

I am studying French at alliance in makati.  I paid for P2900 for the Module 1, P1900 for the module and P900 for membership.  The module is supposed to P3000+ kaso nag-member na lang ako kaya discounted.  Kasi kung di ako mag-member, almost P5thou ang bayad sa lahat.

So far okay naman, enjoy.  The teacher is good, she would speak to you in French though you don't know how. But you'll get what she says naman and she doesn't force us  (yet)to understand what she is saying.  Familiarization lang naman for the language.

hi sis! i did not take any exam when i entered the bridge, yung interview kasi before i enrolled i already told them na i really dont know anything kasi hindi ako nag study sa chinese school ever.

Hi there... I studied at The Bridge but I didnt finish the course. Why? lets just say, I had a bad experience. Also, I dont think that the instructors there are professional & certified... hindi naman sa sinisiraan ko sila, I just dont want you/anybody to experience the same thing...

I took up French levels 1 and 2 in The Bridge, but i didn't finish the course. I had a very bad experience with this language school. I was having second thoughts whether taking Level 2 was a good idea as they persuaded me to enroll after level 1. The worse thing was that they forced me to pay even if the class haven't started yet. As for the service they render, i think it's not at all worth it to enroll in their class; they overcharged us and to top it all, the professors are not even certified instructors

I'd like to pursue my enthusiasm in learning French. Is there somebody who would be able to help me refer a credible language school, which have excellent language teacher and is really TESDA-certified?

yes sis.  i'm not sure if they raised the amount but the last i checked, it was 4800Php per 20 units.  yung length ng course e depende kung gaano ka-frequent yung classes mo.
