Try to make potato and mushroom hash na ginisa sa green and yellow pepper but red pepper can do if there is no yellow pepper available.

My favorite breakfast is the Ilocos version of Miki.  It is essentially chicken noodle soup. Usually we prepare it at night (perfect for hangovers btw), we make a big cauldron of miki and in the morning, reheat!

Here's a recipe which is similar to how my mother makes it except that we don't top our miki with bagnet (too calorific!)

-grilled wheat sandwich with cheese and big slices of tomato as palaman and you can add smoked salmon and lettuce if you want
-eggwhite omelette
-tortilla wraps with grilled chicken or tuna or whatever palaman
-tuna teriyaki topped with shallots and with fresh slices of tomato on the side with brown rice (this i order lang)

kapag sad ako :
-cinnamon bagel with philadelphia cream cheese (the regular one, not the reduced fat or nonfat variety)  ;D
-beef pastrami with lettuce sandwich kahit preserved meat sya  :)
-muffins (especially blueberry)
-toasted waffle with fruits and whipped cream on top

pero usually eto lang breakfast ko :
oatmeal, cereals, yogurt with either banana, mangoes, apples or papaya ;D

Does coffee count? kahit ito lang kumpleto na breakfast ko lol!

If may time, bread with any spread or cheese lang. If maraming time bread with egg or hotdog.

Nakakagutom! Oatmeal, champorado, macaroni soup or just plain pandesal with palaman. Lahat na yata nasabi na dito.

i've been trying to practice this because i am limiting my family's intake of anything preserved, for breakfast we usually have: ( pls note that i make it a point that my kids will have a serving of veggies and fruit per meal)

home made burger steak with homemade gravy
milkfish tapa-homemade
sauteed broccoli/cauliflower with shrimps
adobo which can be prepared ahead
sauteed beans
chicken fingers
tortang talong
sunny side up egg
eggwhite omelette with pepper and cheese
omelette
chicken rice
adobo rice
tuna slices (fresh) salpicao
ensalad sayote tops/ alugbati tops
i also instruct the helper to set aside a portion of our dinner viand so we won't have to stress ourselves for the kid's meal in the morning.
