Mods' Recommendation: OPERA Web Browser -- any users?

I may have unpleasant news about the latest Opera version.

There has been a significant increase in CPU usage since I upgraded to 9.20, Windows Task Manager reports up to 50% for Opera!

The browser's response to keypresses has slowed down a great deal, for example. Maybe it's just me, but I am considering to reinstall the beta release to compare CPU usages between the two.

This just happened today, a day after upgrading. I've restarted my PC several times but  my system seems to be at the verge of a heart attack whenever I use Opera 9.20

I've also experienced the same thing that's why I just stuck to version 9.10, uses only 76MB of my 1GB memory.

just downloaded and installed opera 9.21. pero i still like firefox better just because siguro sa adblock plus. no ads (not just pop-ups, kahit yung mga text ads naka-embed sa sites, flash banners). impressed ako kasi automatically nahatak nya mga bookmarks ko from firefox, but dinagdagan naman nya tsaka na-rearrange. sa firefox pwede right click and draggable mga bookmarks eh. parang di pwede sa opera to?

i ran both firefox and opera, di naman malayo memory usage nila. (i had the same websites opened in 4 tabs) opera pa nga mas mataas by about 10,000+kb probably due to the blocked ads sa firefox.
also ran speedmeter almost sabay sa firefox and opera, pero parang sabay lang naman natapos maload.

i found opera the best in terms of speed and reliability but firefox still beats it, mainly because of firefox's huge amount of addons..., almost all of opera's features that are not found in firefox are supplemented by addons

im beginning to like opera, hehe, but still i have some issues regarding its security and stability, i just found some trojans in the opera temp folder and my system sometimes report that my drive C is full were infact its not

pero ok na rin kc i finally know how to filter adverts sa opera

for those who still dont know, just goto tools>preferences

under advance tab choose content then click on blocked content button

then add these sites to the list

been a user of opera, definitely better than IE, but i still prefer firefox.
pero okay [textspeak!] parang speed dial nila, saka yung feature na you'd be able to see whats on the other tab, kahit di ka dun lumipat.

i have just installed Opera as web browser and i cant believe im liking it.  are there any other users here ng Opera? 
ive been using IE for a long time and i never thought na meron din palang ibang browsers. 

have you guys tried this?  really cool stuff...

opera is now simplified and easy to use. vote for firefox still ... and safari.

bottomline for opera, if you get use to it, its a multi function browser and to utilize it, you can add up your pop3 email accounts and even imap.

most for mobilephones opera is the web browser, but i dont think it supports flash that really good, does it? or maybe just the version from my N80.

i used to use Opera, but it seems like opera is too slow, esp when browsing GT...i also noticed that receiving the message 'site unavailable' often happens, and when i switch to Mozilla, okay naman yung GT...
