IMO, younger women of today are more ambitious,adventurous,independent,pragmatic,passionately aggressive,when they want something (whether a better job, a man,etc)they really work hard to get it.but i also noticed that in the pursuit of getting what they want in life, they tend to forget GOD at times ,  and their self esteem.

younger women of today are aggressive,adventurous (sex included),very vocal about their feelings,less inhibited,most often are non-conformists,and not afraid to try anything novelle or new.i think they need a little moderation on whatever it is they want to do.

Very true sis, all of the above. Those are the positive changes. But one thing that bothers me about women of today is the lack of respect and disregard for their parents and old people.  

i agree.. especially when younger women tend to make excuses and tell older women what is obviously BS and try to justify them... para bang I want to tell them na you're already making a fool of yourself sana ma notice mo na...

Depends on the age group. I'm particularly alarmed at the much younger ones and how advanced they are --- in looks, interests and actions. I have a 12 yr old, that's why I can't help but feel scared of the kind of things kids are exposed to nowadays.

Younger Filipino women of today are:

*fiercely ambitious;
*street-smart;
*having more fun/spending more time with friends than family (movies, church, weekend outings, summer holidays, Christmas holidays, etc were spent with friends while parents settle with younger ones, if they have, to keep them company or with their own siblings or aunts or parents);
*buying properties:  condo units, town-houses (gone are the days when women wait for their men to come up with a white-picket fenced house);
*more vocal (no more polite silences during formal dinners & male-dominated meetings);
*more independent;
*slowly realizing that they do not have to conform to the society's idea of a complete life which is comprised of: finding a man to marry, getting married and having children-- more and more younger women of today are adamant in following what they deem right for them;
*aware of social ills and rolling up their sleeves to do something about it;
*prone to vices (to combat stress or to submit to the usual but a more intense form of peer pressure) such as smoking and drinking (Filipino women have become more and more sociable);
*not afraid nor embarrassed to show-off their wealth (or their parents')
*fashion savvy
*health conscious:  trying all fad diets and all sorts of exercises
*reinventing/redefining the Maria Clara image of Filipino women of yore

napansin ko younger women today are more vocal which is good kasi they express themselves well.  nung time ng mom ko feeling ko very submissive ang mga babae.

they do sex very casually.  hindi ako nagpapakalinis dito, i also had sex before marriage but i did it wid the one i really love (now my hubby) pero ang mga babae ngayon, wala lang, if they feel like doing it, kahit sa kabarkada, sa kaklase, makita lang sa mall, nagkalasingan, ginagawa nila. and im really bothered because i do not want my daughter to be like that few years from now.

palagay ko kasalanan din ng media.  look how men's magazine thrive in this country, and bawat cover-girl binabalita pa sa news.  so ang nagiging tingin ng mga babae tuloy, it's accepted na. na nothing is wrong with it kasi binabalita pa nga sa news e.  madami nga dyan website for men na nagpopose pa talaga sila and they will upload their pics e.  and they feel good about doing it pa.
