What do you think of today's younger women?

Based from my observation,younger women today are more aggressive,more passionate about finding their callings or career they like (they can't be confined to stay at home forever,even if they are or get married),open-minded about  sex,f*** buddies,etc., and not afraid in competing for the top spot,even competing with men.

I guess that's why there is such a word "era" since it is a generation.  And everyone has her own generation to speak of.  Objectively, its something to cherish on, now that I'm past 35.  The fun then was the "confidence", a height and marvelow "glow" that u feel inside.  What most calls the X-factor.  Great feeling and that you have that thrill -  desirous and adventurous but still hanging on to being careful.  Sarap.. those where the days you want to learn more, meet a lot, observe and laugh at ourselves too!    , Of course there were failures too, we meet along the way, but whether we get up and move on quick or slower, we still manage to take that grip and progress.  Now I can look back and say, wow, I have learned so much when I was 10,20,30 and now 40s.  I have grown and more phases when i become 50.  Boy, what would I be then?

im personally below 35.. and we really are somewhat different from the women of the 80's.. and 90's

different perspectives.. and everything but still the same goals...

mas aggressive na nga lang.. wala ng kyeme sa katawan.. prang if u like it go for it.. no one waits forever...

well i belong to this generation.we are more confident, strong willled, open-minded, liberated, career- oriented, adventurous, independent and I do what makes me exactly happy. But then I still have restrictions, (living with parents eh).
Mas ma-gimik, sympre ms mdami gimik places today e unlyk before.
Basta I know, women have improved today, we're more smart and we think and talk equally like men do.

Im below 35 so I guess Im one of the younger generation? Anyway, I agree to what sis simplemom said eventhough we are more vocal, liberated, independent, aggressive, go getter and the like, there are still things that make us more confuse. Things that older folks can give us advise to. I dont know if its due because of the media, advertis'ment, mags etc on what and how a woman should behave and act nowadays because it is the norm. But I do know it play the part. It all boils down to knowing yourself inside out and be self confident not just physically and careerwise but also intellectually, mentally and spiritually to become what our moms' or grandmother have become. A model of womanhood! They might be old fashion but their wisdom on things are timeless! To my mama, I love you and I thank you on how good you raise us(daughters) to adulthood. You're the best!

it feels good to be appreciated....though every young generation i have encountered in the family and in the office who has treated me as their mom i have given them a freedom to express themselves and from there i help them enhance their capabilities and inject family values as well as help them grow professionally....

However it bothers me about how they handle their "love and relationship"  Maligalaig sila masyado...

I think those women younger than me are more career-oriented (or just have the mindset that they can't have enough money) coz they want to buy a house first and a car before getting married...by the time they decide they want to start a family, either the men that they want are already taken or they can't have kids anymore...

i'm part of this generation and these are the things i noticed (yung medyo negative kasi madami na magandang nasabi eh):

- since we are more exposed to a lot of things that used to be taboo, we have this tendency to think that everything is accepted nowadays. it's hard to shock this generation because whatever weird story you tell them, they've already heard it. or worse, they're the story.
- we have this tendency to be quite impractical and greatly attuned to superficial things.
- i've always found it amusing that young people take pictures of their starbucks coffee and their dessert. or the peace sign people make when they take pictures. not a lot of people photograph the skies and the trees these days. i miss that.

but overall, i still think that women, no matter which generatio they belong to, are getting stronger everyday. i like us. we're great
