What do you think of today's younger women?

Are today's below-35 women different from how you and your friends used to be when you were their age?  We've observed that today's below-35 set seem to be more ambitious and independent.  Their attitude towards sex and relationships is also more liberal.  Do you agree?

i think younger generation are more aggressive, more ambitious and more assertive nowadays.
parang feeling nila matanda na sila na they already know everything in life.

now that women have almost the same earnings as men, we're becoming more vocal about what we want and need. women have always been having sex - thats how we procreate! only now, we can talk about it in public and be more open

I am still in the younger woman category.. but from my observation lang between my mom's generation and my generation is that I think we tend to be more independent, more willing to try new things, and more open minded

Very true sis, all of the above. Those are the positive changes. But one thing that bothers me about women of today is the lack of respect and disregard for their parents and old people.

i hate that some younger women nowadays have grown accustomed to being "objectified" by the media, men, etc...that they've already accepted it as the norm. 

and it's so disheartening to see some young women downplaying their strengths just so they can become cute and desirable to men.

well Im 23 and I can say there are some teeners who dont act their age.They feel like they're some sort of adults already.But I also think that accepting changes can lead to development. It all depends on how their parents guided them.If they really are that excited to be adults then let them realize the consequences.

Very true sis, all of the above. Those are the positive changes. But one thing that bothers me about women of today is the lack of respect and disregard for their parents and old people.  

My sentiments too.  Consequences probably of how some were brought up. Some also tends to be too war-freak or hot tempered - this is probably due to their becoming too independent, too out-spoken and too aggressive that seems to result as a disrespect and disregard to other people's feelings na. But, mostly are just asserting their rights and want to be recognized, which is an advancement from the previous generation.

Today's younger women have more options and they are more aware of these options. I agree with what one sis said. They are more confused. Sa dami ng pwedeng gawin, they can't focus on one.

^^ Tingin ko, maybe they are hot-tempered because they can also be less patient these days.

younger women today are confident, they know what to do and  they are properly equipped with the things necessary to be a hot hot. they are also intelligent and gorgeous they know what they want and they know how to achieve or get it. they adapt easily to changes and cope up with difficult situation
