tried this kind of authentic italian style pasta too na walang cream at puro egg yolk lang - di ako nag-enjoy. i find it too malansa. still prefer the aking nakasanayang creamy carbonara.

actually true.. there's something about the ingredients talaga and oh yes, kind of malansa. pero sabagay nga naman, depende yan sa nakain if they will like it or not.

hmm..di ko pa nattry yung may eggs ha..matry nga..thanks for the tip!

Halos same recipe din kami ni sis xymone. Wala lang akong onion and instead of cream of mushroom, mushroom talaga nilalagay ko... then sa toppings nya is Chicken Breast Strips with basil to taste na medyo brown pagkaluto..love the combination!

same lang kami ni sis domestic diva...while for me minsan i alter bacon with chicken or tuna if wala..either ihahalo ko na agad yung chicken sa sauce or top it after....ang kaibahan nga lang is i put on melted cheese kahit yung chedar lang sa sauce while cooking..para creamy hehe

Put cream in it. Do it like the Americans do, tutal sila naman nag introduce (I think) satin sa mga ganung pagkain.

hi mommies, it will be my first time to post and here is my version of carbonara. this is good for those who are in a hurry like me who is a first time dad.

you'l need:
              italian bacon
              olive oil
              pasta
              egg
              basil
              salt & pepper to taste
              parmesan chesse

what to do:
cut the bacon into 1/2 inch thick and fry it using olive oil. on the other pan cooked your pasta accordingly and after draining it, put the egg and let it cook with the hot pasta. mix the cooked bacon and add some basil and salt and pepper to taste. top it off with parmesan cheese before serving and add a small leaf of basil for presentation.

hope you'll like this simple recipe, happe eating.

mine doesn't have milk or cream because i don't like the taste of it. so i made this for lunch:

minced onions
chopped bacon
lotsa garlic
2 eggs
grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste

mix the cheese and eggs in a bowl.

cook bacon, enough to melt some of the fat, but without cooking it to a crisp. drain excess oil. add olive oil, saute garlic and onions until translucent. add newly-cooked pasta to the pan, making sure that all the noodles are coated with oil and hot. then transfer the noodles to the bowl with cheese and eggs, mixing quickly, and coating all the noodles. add salt and pepper to taste. :D
