What scares me about growing old

Me? I'm more scared about growing old without my husband. Kasi he always tells me that he had a feeling that he will die young. weird noh? I hate him everytime he says that. It's not a good joke. I want to die before he does. Because if he dies first, hindi ko kaya...

   alam mo sis, weird talaga. pero ako rin, bata pa ko, lagi ko nang naiisip na i will die young. feeling ko di ako aabot ng old age.( mga 40yrs.old ba). madalas din akong bigla na lang natatakot matulog sa gabi. ewan ko ba. yung gabi rin mismo na hihga na ko para matulog, parang bigla ko lang nararamdaman na, teka hindi na yata ako magigising bukas ah. basta yung ganung feeling.
   pero ngayong i am a single mom na, sobrang ayoko pa talagang mawala. gusto kong tumanda pa at maging lola or lola tuhod pa.=) ang kinakatakot ko lang talaga about growing old eh yung makalbo (ang nipis kasi ng hair ko and mabilis malagas) saka yung mawalan ng teeth...

I'm not really scared of growing old, i just wish lang na pag old and cranky na ako e maintindihan ako ng mga loved ones ko. Jusko isipin ko pa lang ang menopausal stage ko scared na ko kasi baka magaya ako sa mom ko na naghohot flashes at bigla bigla nababago ang mood. masaya sya ngayon tapos with a blink of an eye bigla na lang syang nag hihysterical over nothing. mainipin at madali magalit.... My other siblings tuloy naaasar sa kanya pag ganun sya and syempre minsan naman talaga she gets on my nerves din, haaay sana lang pag nagmenopause nako hindi ako ganun.

im afraid na tumanda ako na walang nagagawa for my kapwa.. kahit simpleng bagay lang na tiyak di nila malilimutan.. i want to be active kasi sa orphanage.. goal ko before ako tumanda/mamatay eh dapat may nagawa ako sa mga orphans dito sa davao

^^^naku same tayo ng feeling...kaya nga i always pray to God na he gave us more strength at mahabang buhay coz we're only 35 at gusto ko pa makita maging successful ang 5 children ko at maging successful kami in many ways.

ayokong dumating yung point na alagain na ako. however, gusto kong makita at ma-guide yung baby ko while he's growing up.

ayokong mas lumabo pa mata ko, maging uber makakalimutin that i don't recognize people na, maging mas makulit pa....etc.

yung magkasakit, to the point na mahihirapan lang sa sakit, at in the end machuchugi din pala...

im scared of growing old and be "pabigat" to my kids. Kaya as early as now im getting pension plans para at least kahit matanda na ko meron akong mahuhugot pag nagkasakit ako. at syempre pagaagawan akong alagaan ng mga anak ko dahil me pension ako lol. but honeslty yan ang nakikita ko eh, so im scared of growing old empty handed, getting sick and seeing my kids carrying the burden.

What I fear about growing old is yung pagbaba ng level ng strength kasi I am a very active type of person. I always want to make things. Gawa dito, gawa dun.

Being a burden to others... Others who reach 100 become really useless and nagiging burden sa family. Nakakatakot maging ganun.  Parang aantayin nalang ng family mong mawala ka na

i'm afraid of growing old alone (sana good health kami ni hubby para we could grow old together) wag mauna isa sa amin agad.

i'm afraid to grow old poor (sana we can still sustain our lifestyle at hindi maging pabigat sa iba)

i'm afraid growing old without giving our children a better future (sana okey sila lahat)
