What scares me about growing old

Just recently my friend gave birth to her son. And just then i realized that its high time for me to get married and have my own children. Gusto ko kasi maenjoy ang anak ko, and to be sure that they are already stable/living comfortably before i die. Gusto ko rin maenjoy ang mga apo ko...

I'm scared to be a bitter and regretful old woman. That's why hubby and I are enjoying our lives in the best way we can.

Also I'm wondering if my son will be able to live on his own when I'm gone.

     Growing old unable to occupy or amuse myself.
     Alzheimer's.

takot din ako tumandang mag isa. sarap kase ng feeling na somebody will be there beside you till both of you grow old. lam ko na maraming bagay pa akong pagdadaanan, at sana maging brave enough akong harapin yun. at kapag may dumating na opportunity,huwag sana akong duwag para wala akong pagsisisihan sa dulo. hmmm

It may sound shallow, but yeah i do get scared to get old and wrinkly, with saggy parts all over. Kasi at this point, i'm still insecure at times, and to think one day isa na ako sa mga 'mean jokes' about old ladies, minsan kasi kahit sa church may mga jokes ang priest about the old ladies eh. but that i think i can get over as times passes

when i think about it more, its probably being USELESS that i'm more afraid of when i get old.

my grandma is always restless and i can see that she always gets bored and tries to approach others but most people around her are busy and so am I, i'm afraid of that feeling na parang wala kang magawa, you can't really go to parties, and if you try to dress up and prettify yourself baka tawagin ka pang nagmumurang kamatis (did i got that right?)

basta the feeling of being useless, dependent, and that scary feeling of loneliness

Takot ako na baka pagtanda ko wala akong money to sustain for medicines, tanggap ko na magiging sakitin din ako sa future pero sana yung medyo curable, otherwise may pang maintenance sa gamot. Ayoko rin to live with my kids or relatives kasi nakakahiya, ayokong maging pabigat sa ibang tao.

ayoko mag isa pagtanda ko.sana merong partner na kasama ko habang tumatanda kami.para happy pa din.
sana healthy pa ako if that time comes. para hindi rin ako iniintindi ng mga mahal ko sa buhay. specifically sa financial part.
sana if ever my mga anak ako, na makatapos sila at hindi lumaking balasubas at may mga moral. tamang simpleng life lang.
