Hi! I want to apply for smart postpaid Iphone 5s. I'm still a student, my mom sends me money every month thru my bank account. She sends me roughly P30k plus a month. I plan to give my bank statement as a proof of income. Is it possible that I will get approved? Thanks!

^i think you need to get a statement from the bank for your proof of financial capability, if that's what you're going to use. valid government IDs din you need. you might want to go to a smart business center to verify the requirements needed. kanina kasi may nagpupunta doon sa smart just to ask for those info e 

update lang. i got my note 3 na kanina. initially daw, as per the csr that assisted my application, for sim only lang na 2k data plan ang ina-approve kasi i'm 2 months short of 2 years employment kahit na umabot ako sa minimum requirement nila for a basic monthly salary. pero kinausap nalang daw niya to get me approved for a unit na rin since malapit na rin naman ako mag-2 years sa current employer ko. nagulat lang ako kasi i was just there to follow-up sa status ng application ko less than 2 weeks ago

my plan is 2k LTE, sis. but may cap siya which is 1.5GB max, tapos automatic na magsslow connection mo into 3G. unlidata ka pa rin, with LTE nga lang na 1.5GB. for now lang ata free yung LTE if you're on unlidata plan, yun ang pagkakarinig ko sa katabi ko nagtatanong. better ask smart for clarification on that

after my retention last nov 2013, my unlidata plan was changed to unli lte plan. plan 2000 din ako, at nang naging lte wala na akong naranasang cap, though sabi nila meron dapat. sa smart canopy ko ang consistent ang cap, after 30gb throttled na ang download speed, from 2mbps nagiging 0.2mbps then start ng month saka nila irereset.

actually, a friend of mine says na although may cap ang LTE supposedly, kahit ma-reach niya ang 1.5GB of data ng LTE niya, meron pa rin naman daw siyang LTE connection.

ang alam ko kasi ang unl-LTE is 995 for a month on top of your bill. yung LTE plan kasi is not unli-LTE. yun ang pagkakasabi sakin sa Smart when i verified about the LTE plan e.

Plan 2000 unlidata sya before nung naka iphone 4s ako, after ng retention nung nov at naging note 3 ang phone ko ginawa nilang unli lte plan sabi ng sales rep ng sm north. Same bill pa rin ang binayaran ko nung dec kaya lang napansin ko na walang download cap/bandwidth throttle.

Yes sa 24th month ko kinuha yung retention pero sabi sa smart kahit sa 22nd month pwede ng makuha. Dapat talaga 5s ang kukunin ko kaso nung time na yun 2 weeks daw akong maghihintay e available na ang note 3 so pumayag na ako.  

Nagbasa basa ulit ako sa lte plan ng smart at sabi nga pag nagexceed ng 1.5gb a month may extra charges na...i monitor my current charges at my.smart.com.ph at so far wala pa naman akong nakikitang kakaiba though alam ko more than 1.5gb na ako this month. Better be safe than sorry so wifi na [textspeak!] muna ako sa bahay at tigil na muna downloads sa phone haha.

hikarichan, i will verify this with smart tomorrow since we will pick up another phone from them. and sabi kasi sa akin when i verified my lte plan 2000, once you reach the 1.5gb allotted, your connection will automatically slowdown but you will not incur any more data charges since unli-data rin siya with lte connection. so mawawala lang daw yung lte but you still have data.

my friend who has lte plan din says na kahit makapag-download na siya ng maraming movies, still may 4g connection pa rin siya, but slower ng konti lang naman and barely noticeable. his bill is still the same, no additional charges even if he exceeds his 1.5gb lte

til feb 2 na lang ang contract ko, retention na din. Sabi ng CS on the 24th month pa daw ako pwede mag apply ng retention. Gusto ko sana kunin yung ip5s. Matagal pa kaya lalabas ang ip6?

Usually six months before contract expiry e pwede na mag-renew sa Smart. But of course, yung addl 24 months e magsastart pa lang i-count pag nag-expire na yung existing contract. 

Anyway, just renewed my postpaid contract this afternoon. Mid-2012 pa actually expired yun, tinamad lang ako mag-renew. Hehe.. and instead of getting the free phone, I chose the other retention option given to me, which is a 35% discount on my monthly plan (11yrs na yung postpaid account ko). Di ko naman kasi kelangan ng new phone so I opted for the discount na lang.

We're also getting a pocket wifi LTE, sana ok ang LTE connections sa frequented areas namin. Still thinking kung plan3500 or plan1749 kukunin namin. Sa weekend na kami mag-submit ng documents kasi di namin nadala kanina.

wala pa din 5s?? plan ko kasi dito na kumuha ng lte plan eh, ayoko na ng globe!! ang daming lag sa net depende sa loc, malas kasi kung san ako stay, nagloloko signal ko hehe mas okay ba lte connection nila?

I hate smart na, nagpapermanent disconnection na ako kasi di na ako magrenew contract tapos one month na di pa rin disconnect. Dati pag di ako nakabayad on time may disconnection agad. Haysss

annamarie, pahirapan ang 5s ngayon sa pagkakaalam ko. pero i think pina-prioritize nila mga new subscribers. di ko lang sure about sa lte connection ng globe, pero sa smart, lagi ako naka 4g sa office and maraming places na pinupuntahan ko naman pwera nga lang sa house hehe.

ask ko lang, gano katagal hihintayin para mareceive yung phone na inavail pag nagparetention? less than 10 na lang kasi stocks nung phone na inavail ko. thanks
