Is it really true na mahirap para sa self-employed na tulad ko magkakuha ng plans sa Smart? Particularly para doon sa iPhone plans?

It seems like mukhang ang hirap i-satisfy ang requirements nila kung walang ITR at certificate of employment. Ina-approve nila raw ang bank statement showing balance of P300k; if not, have a credit limit of P100k. That's according to an agent working there - who happens to be my first cousin.

Pero ewan ko lang, baka yung iba sa inyo nakakuha ng iPhone plans without satisfying those strict requirements above? Or nag-cash out na lang kayo sa iPhone ng Smart? Or did you just go for Globe?

^pag may credit card sis mabilis lang...
ako rin self-employed.. by my plan is under hubby's name... kaya nakakuha din ako ng line..

i think yun Freedom Plans nila valid ID lang ang kailangan.. you might wanna try that one.

or if you have credit card.. just give it a try... ganun din kasi ginawa ng friend ko..
credit card lang then approved na...

I think mas madali pag me credit card ka na me mataas na credit limit, then arrange for auto-debit arrangement.

Thanks junepets and bagaholic!

I have a CC, pero maliit ang limit. Secured CC kasi.

Oh well, might as well go for the cash way.

I think i'll use the phone more for mobile surfing than do calls and texts.

I'm under consumable plan 1200, whatever nagamit ko (combination of text/surf/call) ibabawas sa plan. So pag ganun, on top of 1200 na yung roaming charges. You can call 888-1111 din to inquire.

I'm thinking of switching from globe to smart and get an iphone5. i'm using a bb phone from globe, subscribed to bbmax, super bagal magload and lagi pa hindi lumalabas ang pictures sa sobrang bagal.

has anyone experienced this: i am using a smart prepaid. it's on roaming. matagal ko na siyang ginagamit to receive msgs from phil. lately bigla siya nawalan nang signal/connection. thinking na baka fluke lang, i restarted my phone. when wala pa din, i thought baka wala na load so from phil someone tried to reload my sim using the instructions RELOAD <PIN> <SIM NUMBER> and send to 1510. it was unsuccessfull. Inilapit na namin sa customer service but until now wala pa feedback what happened and what we can do. Wala pa din signal ang my sim/phone until now.

Globe prepaid ako dati. College days. Applied for Smart postpaid (under my dad's name), but they are somehow strict sa requirements, may issue sa billing whatever yung dad ko nun, tried to applied for Globe nalang pero mas mabilis parin na-process yung Smart. I thought hindi na nga nila tatanggapin eh. Yeah, better if you have a Credit Card.

8 years and I am a satisfied client. Although pansin ko lang, mas lenient ang Globe when it comes to bills. My mom who's a Globe user, when she didn't pay her bill on time, never na-disconnect while stricter ang Smart kasi ilan beses ako na-dc.

^try to change the service provider. How many months na wala load sim mo? Either expired na sim mo or may prob yung provider mo

i love smart, mabilis ang internet nya... i can download 1 episode of a TV series (300-400MB) in less than 30 minutes in our office...

what i hate is their collection team - super bilis tumawag, last friday lang ang due date ko, tumatawag na for payment heheh

I applied nung sunday, it's been 3 days, wala pa ring tawag kung approved na ako. I presented my COE and driver's license as documents. Wala kasi akong credit card. Sana naman i-approve nila ako...
