I just discovered J-music right now through a J-singer named YUKI. I listened to her song "Joy" and I was so addicted that I searched for her songs and downloaded all of them! Ang ganda! I also dl-ed some of Mika's songs. Can anyone suggest pa any nice JPop songs? I dont like rock.

 Mika Nakashima's "Yuki no Hana" is nice.Ai Otsuka songs paranag ganun genre din "Cherish" "Friends" etc...mga ballads...Angela Aki rin she plays the piano her songs " Sakura iro","This Love" and "Kiss me Goodbye"...Yuna Ito has nice songs like" Endless Story".Mga songs din ng  KIroro like Best Friend, Nagai Aida etc.(matagal na sila sikat mga 90's pa eh)..Ako kasi I like Utada Hikaru, Namie Amuro,Ayumi Hamasaki, Arashi, SMAP,V6, Orange Range etc...dati i listen to Mai Kuraki, Ami Suzuki,Olivia Lufkin (D & D), SPEED (Hiro, Eriko after disband) now di na kasi di na sila sikat hehe

Tsuchiya Anna on World Tour
Singer/actress Tsuchiya Anna is the latest Japanese star aiming to go global. Her upcoming international tour is being touted as the "first world tour by a Japanese female singer". Starting June 30 in Los Angeles, the 12-show tour will take in Korea, Taiwan and finish in Tokyo on September 1. By my count, that's only four countries. And she isn't even really going it alone, as she'll be appearing during festivals and events such as the "Anime Expo Ax 2007" in L.A. and Summer Sonic at home. A bit more impressive is the fact that a CD/DVD release of her greatest hits album will go on sale in 42 mostly European countries, a record for a Japanese artist. It will be in stores from July 4. Her popularity in Europe comes mainly from her theme song to the anime series "Nana" and an appearance at an anime expo in Paris last July. In France, she is called the "Japanese Madonna". Her next single, a double-A-side "Bubble Trip/Sweet Sweet Song" (jacket above) is due for release on August 1.

Director Anno Hideaki (47) is a big Hikki fan, and he approached the singer directly about taking part in the project. The single is due for release on August 29 and the movie opens on September 1.

Singer Utada Hikaru has reclaimed her top spot in the hearts of Japanese music fans. For the fourth time, and the first since 2004, she has topped the Oricon annual ranking of the country's favorite artists. She took the No.1 spot back from Aiko (31), who held it the last two years. She's had an eventful year, releasing the No.1 single "Flavor of Life" in February and announcing her divorce from filmmaker Kiriya Kazuaki (39) in March. At No.2 were the duo Kobukuro, who grabbed their first chart-topping single in April, followed by veteran rock band Mr. Children. The ranking is based on a survey of 20,000 readers of the "Oricon Style" magazine.
