Assuming you're doing this for Web images:
1. file > save for web.. > tapos select mo sa filetype either GIF or PNG (kung gagamitin mo for web, GIF is the safest choice)

2. after that, choose either "Selective", "perceptual", or "adoptive", sa color setting.

3. kung madaming colors(e.g. picture ng tao), set the number of colors to 256(max). kung cartoony, or illustrations lang, either 32 or 64 would be enough. trial and error mo nlang. makikita mo naman difference sa preview.

4. tapos sa may baba ng settings, may makikita ka color palettes(maraming squares na iba't ibang colors), select the "white" swatch(white box) tapos sa may baba nung palette may mga small icons, hanapin mo yung checkered icon. it will make all the "white" color sa image mo na transparent. you can also do this for other colors.

5. save your file as GIF. that's it! sa web, only GIF and PNG(IE 7+) formats have transparency support. pag JPEG hindi.

Naku sis, there are days like that. Suggestion: try with simple retouches muna. Like removing pimples or wrinkles. Then go from there Ako nagsimula lang dyan kasi ayaw ko na may pimple sa 1st studio pic namin ng baby ko. hahah! Vanity daw ba.

^sis ganyan talaga sa umpisa. mauubusan ka talaga ng pasensya. ako ginagawa ko habang nagphhotoshop ako nakikinig ako ng music para marelax senses ko kaya kahit asar ako sa ginagawa ko relax pa din. in the end, natatapos ko yung ginagawa ko.

Ang isang pinakaimportanteng rule sa Photoshop: choose the picture/subject na ie-edit mo. Bec. that is the picture/subject you will spend yourself looking at for hours. Kung hindi mo siya gusto, tatamarin ka nga lalo. Kung masyado kang in-love sa boyfriend mo, i-edit mo [textspeak!] picture. I-liquify mo para mas masaya.

AT additional suggestion din lang-- medyo konting yabang kapag nakatapos ka ng na-edit mo ngayon or whatever day it is, punta ka dito sa board natin:

Magaganda yung features ng bagong photoshop CS3...pero nandun pa din yung usual kaya mas ok...

Countess: di ko sure, try mo sa filter sa mejo ilalim digimarc then nandun watermark.
