Sis ang Photoshop CS2 standads for Creative suite 2, which is a bundle of graphic design, video editing and web development. Ang Photoshop kasi is  more sa photos and graphics. Pero alam ko may tutorial na ang CS2 mismo sa program. Im gonna try it tomorrow. Kasi ang Photoshop naaral ko lang last Sunday. Check mo previous post ko sa Photoshopped pics sa hobbies for sample nung mga gawa ko.

I think the Mosaic she's referring to is yung parang collection ng small pictures that forms a bigger picture. or parang ganun.. hehe..

there are a lot of photo-mosaic software sa internet pero never pa ko nakagamit ng FREE na maganda yung result. I can recommend a commercial software though na nagamit ko na and worked vey well. EZmosaic yung name nung software.

if you want to do it manually sa photoshop, medyo madugo and it's not as nice compared sa gawa ng commercial softwares.

1. make a folder that contains all the pictures na gusto mong maliliit.
2. next you need to make a "contact-sheet" of that folder. It's under File>Automate>Contact Sheet or Create Contact sheet (getting rusty na hehe sorry..) tapos trial and error nlang yung values. basta important is yung Page Size, tapos remove gaps, remove titlenames, etc.

3. Page Size should be the dimensions of your "bigger" image. after mo makagawa ng contactsheet, open mo yung "bigger-image"
4. paste to a new layer mo yung "contact-sheet" sa "bigger" image, tapos adjust adjust ng opacity.

I agree na possible sa RAM mo yung may prob. 384MB lang kasi physical memory mo, and 384MB is the minimum required RAM para makapag run yung photoshop. What's your video card's specs? nakakatulong din kasi ito para hindi mahirapan yung RAM mo. for a quick fix, try adjusting your Scratch Disk setting. it's under Edit>Preferences...>Plugins and Scratchdisks. Sa office namin 1GB na yung RAM minsan kinukulang pa, pero that's for super high resolution materials na(billboards, 300++dpi printing).

Scratchdisks uses your free Hard Disk space to act like a RAM. makakatulong din ito para hindi lahat ng load mapunta sa Physical Memory mo(RAM). If you have multiple hard disks, mas better na dun mo i-set sa HD na kung saan hindi nakainstall yung Windows mo.

There is Photoshop CS, yung before CS2. mababa lang requirements nito and almost the same set of features ng CS2. things like perspective, healing brush, spot brush, etc. lang yung nadagdag sa CS2. kung simpleng image manipulation lang, CS nlang gamitin mo. i think mas bagay yun sa specs ng pc na nilist mo. We even use Photoshop 5.5 minsan kung wala naman kami gagamitin na CS2 specific  feature. Habang dumadami kasi features ng isang software(lalo na Adobe products), mas tumataas required na capacity ng RAM. the latest CS3 requires 1GB RAM at the minimum.

Here's my sample (kaso instead na magkatabi, ginawa ko naman na vertical:



Sis, you can do this by doing this:

1.) File>New (gawa ka ng bago.Estimate gano kalaki mga pictures. For example kung ang height nya is 6inches, width is 7. So you size will be 6inchesx14 inches pag magkatabi ang picture (horizontal pics). Pag vertical naman like mine, using my sample measurement that's 12 inches x 7inces naman. Do the maths na lang. Suggest ko medyo lakihan mo ng konti so there's room for cropping.

2.) Open pic 1. Select mo cya then copy. Go to your NEW file then paste. Notice that the pic will be at the middle. So use the MOVE tool to bring the pic to the center.

3.) Do the same to the other pic.

4.) Marking your picture. - Use the text tool to place a name. (example before and after.)

5.) If you wanna place a Registered or Copyright mark or any other shape like a paw, butterfly, use the CUSTOM SHAPE TOOL.

I would agree na sa RAM yan. Before when I had only 256 RAM grabe super bagal magprocess yong CS2 as in mag hang lahat ng ibang application ko. But I recently added up 512MB RAM plus ni reformat pa pc ko, now I can open several applications sabay sa Photoshop CS2 and bumilis na sha. So happy! hehe

hi sis Mnemosyne. Matagal na po ako user ng photoshop cs 2 and paint shop pro, Kaya lang nagkaron nagyon ng problem ang pc when i'm using photoshop cs2. Nagpalit kasi kami ng motherboard. Eh ang nakainstall na memory is mababa. 384Mb hinid kaya photoshop cs2. Anyways, tnx for the site, kaya lang need ko pano gamitin ang photoshop cs2 brush sa paint shop pro. Sige pag nafigure out ko rin post ako dito. Mahilig kasi ako sa mga online tutorials eh. Surf ka lang and look for a site that you find easy to follow. May mga site kasi na "Ha? Ano daw?" ang feeling.
