re:polygonal lasso tool....parang hindi maganda effect nya kasi straights yung lines..lalo na pag may curve na dapat  susundan, ang panget ng dating.. mas okay pa magnetic but medyo mahirap pa din for pasmados..

^^junetwentythree:  As long as your work includes an actual photograph manipulated in any way, puede syang i-post.  But if everything in it were made from scratch within photoshop, i guess sa ibang thread yun. 

They were actual stock photos that I manipulated in Photoshop. Some parts were made from scratch. But whatever. I guess it doesn't belong here since no one cared to look at it, much less comment about it.

I agree. mas madali ngang gamitn ang pen tool. idefine mo lang [textspeak!] paths na kailangan mo and once you were able to define it, pwede mo ng i-bend [textspeak!] mga paths na yun. Hindi tulad sa magnetic or polygonal. Once nagawa mo na [textspeak!] path, its so hard to bend the paths or i-modify. Ive done/play with the Batman logo just by using the pen tool.

@ kikay: oo nga nao, ayaw na mag-open? hmmm... di bale, google  ka na lang ng mga pen tool tutorials. malaking tulong yan pag na-master mo ang tool na ito. and learn to use shortcuts too para mas mabilis ang trabaho

I am so lucky, somebody just taught me Adobe Photshop and Illustrator from my past office e kasi kailangan namin for presentation drawings. It's so easy to learn...and I enjoy rendering floor plans, elevations, sections and inserting perspectives in actual photos.
It became really handy when we joined the CCP design district competition last 2005 and we won 3rd place!

guys help naman. i was trying to install photoshop elements on my pc pero may error msg. it says: this program requires VGA or higher. what does that mean?! help!

^ video card usually ang problema. pero i-try mong i-adjust ang resolution ng pc mo [control>panel>display>settings] baka makuha sa ganito.

^ the best pa din ang photoshop when it comes to image editing. you can also use bryce, pero more on 3d images. the closest to photoshop (i think) is macromedia fireworks. pero limited lang ang filters that you can use unlike photoshop. or maybe coreldraw.

^^Sardonyx:  You can try Corel PhotoPaint.  It's very similar to photoshop and it's got other neat features.
