HOW TO GO THERE?
If you are familiar sa UP University Ave, yung checkpoint area where there is a crossroad sa right papuntang FINE ARTS sa left papuntang ISSI,NCPAG, CHK.  sa check point you can ask the guards naman where ISSI is. Ang maganda madali lang hanapin at ok pa ang parking. kapag gabi kitang kita pero pag day parang hindi halata. saka very secluded talaga walang tao masyado dun.

sinabi mo pa sobrang sulit talaga sa treehouse. medyo sinwerte kami when we held my party there. as far as i can remember kapag sunday closed sila, sakto naman na sunday (august 28, 2005) ko talaga iccelebrate yung party ko kasi monday (august 29, 2005) ang birthday ko. sabi sa akin i can maximize the use of the whole venue kasi more than P14k yung package na napili namin. so ang saya ng nangyari. may mga cook tapos may 4 waiter/waitress. sobrang exclusive talaga nung lugar for my party. yun nga lang sobrang lakas ng ulan so hindi ako nakapagdrama dun sa may bridge. hahaha! we had to transfer pa from the first floor to the second floor so talagang treehouse na treehouse ang effect. basta maganda siya!

sakay ka lang ng up jeep sa may likod ng jollibee or tapat ng mcdo. sabihin mo sa driver sa may checkpoint ka lang. you have to cross the street from the checkpoint kasi dun sa left side (facing oblation) yung treehouse.  katabi siya ng issi building.^.^

about the rates naman nung debut (last 2005) ko P20k plus yung nagastos namin for 3 hours. good for 100 pax na. ang natatandaan ko lang is unlimited yung drinks. hehe!;p

hi mga sis...i've am looking for an ideal hotel/residential suite venue for my daughter's 1st bday. close family and friends lang invited about 30pax...welcome party na din since that'll be her first vacation sa pinas.gusto sana namin near greenbelt area (accesible sa lahat)...i'm eyeing  DISCOVERY SUITES (kahit hindi makati) and SOMERSET OLYMPIA/MILLENIUM...other options are astoria and linden, but i couldn't get much infos on them yet...gusto ko sana magpacater (me nakita ako sa K by cunanan na setup--nakaupo lang sa floor...it's cute!yun sana gusto ko kahit for the kids lang since less than 10 lang naman sila)...

is it possible to bring in catered food and some catering stuffs (siguro serving dishes and small table for the kids)... one concern ko din dapat me pool para me me additional activities ang mga kids...

should i inform them about the party or maging discreet na lang?  there's no infos/rates available (on their websites) of their function rooms or even poolside party venue kaya i can't check if we can afford to avail of it pa...

mga sis i'm open for suggestions and i'll appreciate if you can share your experiences with those places (ayoko kasi in the middle of the night e pauwin yung mga gusto magstay, though not all the guest will sleep over and since closed family and friends naman, masasaway na man sila na tolerable lang dapat ang  ingay hehe)

I would like to suggest Cheatau Verde (tama kaya spelling?) sa UP po ito near chapel, you can ask na lang sa Shopping center, maganda ito for dinner, garden kasi maganda sa mga intimate affair. or chocolate kiss sa UP Bahay ng alumni naman.

BONSAI GARDEN ang laki ng place perfect for garden wedding, or function
mga 15k-20k lang pero venue pa lang yun
ISSI TREE HOUSE ang ganda ng place pag gabi ang 100person and more kayang kaya. Yun nga yung nagustuhan ng friend ko 30k lang kasama na ang food and place.

^^Newmumi, if you're going to have it catered, you might have a hard time hiding it from the hotel... specially, if you plan to have your guests stay late Also, the caterer might not allow you if just for 10pax.

Other venue suggestions in Makati would be:

Ascott (formerly Oakwood).. they have nice and big rooms.
Fraser Place.. super nice rooms. Just in case, they also have Cravings on the same floor as their pool, and they have their own function rooms.

I would also suggest, if it's not important for you that they stay overnight, you can rent the function rooms of condos.. they're normally just good for 40-50pax. they normally allow guests to stay til 12 midnight. Some would even allow you to book the pool area, so it'll be exclusively yours. with this, you can decorate the venue anyway you want and bring your own food.

we're looking for a hotel to stay overnight, pang get together lang. we're about 15-20people, na allowed ang food and if pwede may kitchen pwede kami magluto. we prefer libis, ortigas area. suggestions pls.

Ishasophia, meron ako alam pero sa Marikina ang venue. I'll ask kung available pa. House kasi sya, but beside their meron silang pool area na ginawa na rin nilang for rent pero with referral pa rin. Naka-separate sa house nila. Baka nga lang hindi maging accessible para sa mga guests mo.

There's a restaurant run by the De La Salle Hotel and Restaurant Management students near Taft.

It's called The Solomon Guest House.

I liked the place.  It was along Ayala St., one of the side streets of Arellano Street, near DLSU Taft.  It's not too far from the main thoroughfare but a bit secluded. There's a little parking space in front. 

It's a big converted house, may aircon part and may garden na may tent.  It's not hot in the garden even during daytime.  I think they can accommodate mga 80 to 100 persons.

I asked if they are open for functions.  They can hold functions daw as long as it's from 6 to 9 pm. 

The minimum package start from 300 pesos/pax.  They can have varied menu.

Le Domaine Condo in Makati, can accomodate up to 50 guests. I think 2.5K lang rent, but you need a sponsor.
