I hate calling NBS branches to ask for a book. Sobrang unreliable and ang tamad nilang maghanap. Like right now, I'm asking for this particular book which I happened to saw yesterday tapos sasabihin na WALA. They would forward me to another line tapos naririnig ko sila nag-uusap sila complaining about my simple question. Hello. Trabaho niyo yan.

Powerbooks is okay.. but I prefer the new National Bestsellers. is that the same as National Bookstore?

i agree! yung mga tao nga sa customer service sa isang btranch an napuntahan ko, wala din kwentang kausapin.

mas gusto ko mga tao sa powerbooks. gusto ko lang sa NBS, they're everywhere.

to check books - Powerbooks. But to buy books, depends where it is cheaper.

I go to National Bookstore for supplies however it depends naman as to where the book is more affordable.

I go to Fully-Booked to check out lang but to read...as in, Powerbooks talaga. It's been a while since I last visited. I don't even know what are the latest releases. I've got to buy myself a new book.

Cheaper books? Go to NBS. Ease, comfort, ambiance and service --- Powerbooks then. Both have the same owners though as far as I know.

In terms of inquiry, Powerbooks customer service is better than that of Nat'l Bookstore.
