Between fully Booked and National/Powerbooks, I go to the latter. Grabe ang laki ng patong ng Fully Booked, or baka naman dahil sale lang ngayon the book I bought yesterday 495 sa Fully Booked , e sa National I got it for 386 lang.

mas mahal nga sa powerbooks compared to nbs, but for variety and hard to find books i prefer powerbooks. But if the book is available sa NBS i usually buy it there value for money talaga.

Powerbooks. Para kasing palengke ang National Bookstore na malapit sa kin. Maingay, daanan ng tao, magulo ang arrangement ng mga libro. But if I want to buy a book which I think is pricey, I always check if the book is also available in NBS. Admittedly, malaki rin ang price difference ng Powerbooks and NBS. Cheaper by at least P100 minsan ang ibang books sa NBS.

If you have a membership card at Powerbooks, you get discounts. I'm a member, so I buy at Powerbooks.

Actually kung hindi ko gagawing collection ang book and available sya sa NBS, sa national bookstore ko na sya binibili.

Pero like hard bound books of Harry Potter and the Twilight series, kahit na mas mahal pa sya ng mga 20 pesos - 100 pesos. Sa powerbooks pa din.

I almost bought a copy of breaking dawn sa NBS, kasi may 10% discount pa sila. Pero yung copies nila not properly handled or displayed kaya may mga gasgas or tupi yung book. So i bouhgt the copy sa powerbooks (Greenbelt) And, im impressed with the service. Lahat ng naka display na copy ng breaking dawn, na scrutinize ko to get the "perfect" copy. From the spine, hanggang sa cover and sa ut ng pages. And guess what? kahit maraming naka display, naglabas pa yung mga staff ng aroung 30+ copies na pagpilian ko para magustuhan ko yung book. Talking about excellent service, galing ng powerbooks greenbelt.

my bf super like to to spend his time in powerbooks since you can read books there..he can stay there for HOURS. mas bago mga books in powerbooks compared to national bookstore although cheaper talaga sa national.

National bookstore for their super bagsak presyo during book sales.

PowerBooks for their wide selection.

but I'd still go for Fully Booked kasi you can reserve your copies and they always have it on stock (based on experience when purchasing the Twilight series)

books are cheaper at NBS, though at PB, you can really choose talaga dahil mas madaming books.

Yeah, me, too! My sisters or whoever's with me get so annoyed. They don't understand why I stay there and stare/look at books.

Mas tahimik sa powerbooks, you can browse longer.  National bookstore is one-stop shop not only for books but also for your pens etc.
