ako rin powerbooks,since isa lang ang me ari sa kanila i believe na yung powerbooks ginawa nila for people who really love books na talagang matitingnan most of the books they're interested in w/o being hassled by foot traffic.

i like powerbooks a lot. i even have their powercard but lately i've been getting a lot of good bargains fropm national bookstores lately. i do like powerbooks since the ambiance they exude promotes reading.

i noticed that sometimes for certain books, cheaper in powerbooks. for others naman, cheaper in national.

I prefer Powerbooks for books while National Bookstore for office supplies.

for me it depends on the branch.  there are national bookstores that are really well-stocked like the one in quezon ave...even in books, not just supplies.  i hate powerbooks trinoma, not just because they don't seem to have a lot of books, plus their customer service sucks.  sobrang snooty nung guy manning this booth.  my absolute fave is the one in alabang town center...sobrang galeng ng service ng powerbooks nila. 

overall, i still prefer national though kasi they have everything you need.

powerbooks is very new here in cebu i think last month lang nag-open at the new wing of SM. super okay yung interiors and the lights are not fluorescent na makakasilaw (not conductive for reading).

parang kailangan icompare powerbooks and fully booked, may mga books ang natio pero yun mga hard to find syempre mas meron sa powerbooks. nbs is more of an office supply/arts store

^ bakit nga kaya ang hirap tanggalin ng price tag sa nbs?! hmmm... nakakapangit nga naman yun ng book. kahit yung mags nila ganun din eh. pero pag office supplies naman, madaling tanggalin.

^^ right sis! parang mas magandang i-compare ang powerbooks & fully booked sa isat isa. same ang marketing strategy nila & target market.

i like to hang out nman sa power books coz you get to read there especially in alabang town center

i like powerbooks than national bookstore. minsan kasi may okay yung mga books dun e. and nakakapagbasa ka pa talaga. plus they do reservations.
