i buy books from powerbooks kesa nbs kasi may discount card ako. sayang naman yung discount. sa laking national, points lang. kaya pag may nakita akong okay na book sa nbs, punta ako ng powerbooks para dun bilhin. yun ay kung meron dun pero most of the time meron naman. school supplies ang mostly binibili ko sa nbs.

Powerbooks  reading supplies are much better than NBS in some areas.

My favorite place in makati - Powerbooks Greenbelt
parang public library na sobrang updated and ang gaganda ng mga books na pwedeng basahin ng libre sana kung [textspeak!] national meron ding ganito, baka madalas din akong pumunta sa stores nila.
pero [textspeak!] sa price, parang mas mahal [textspeak!] sa powerbooks

mas gusto ko yung service sa powerbooks...
halos same price lang naman pero may mga cheaper editions o prints sa National na wala or mahirap hanapin sa powerbooks.
Usually,  tumitingin ako sa dalawa, pero dahil sayang ang points ko sa powercard, nagtatanong na lang ako sa powerbooks kung meron sila nong print na nakita ko sa national, para don ako bumili.hehe.
Like may nakita ako sa National glorietta na compilation ng lahat ng book ni Gabriel Garcia Marquez, 1800 lang sya pero hanggang ngayon, wala pa din sa powerbooks.  Mahal ng mga prints na dinidisplay nila.

Powerbooks because they are very much more specialised in selling books unlike NBS which also cater to other merchandises. Powerbooks' branches are also designed to be conducive for book lovers..

there are some stuff from powerbooks that you can't find in national bookstore and vice versa kaya whenever i go to Powerplant i make sure i go to both National and powerbooks

but my kids loves to read in the children's area at powerbooks rather than national.

mas comfy magshopping for books sa powerbooks eh, and mas wide ang selection nila ng books. pero mas loyal pa rin ako sa national bookstore, siyempre.

I prefer Powerbooks. I get to read books for free! Haha...scrooge. Seriously though, hindi ko feel magbrowse sa National. Parati kasing crowded. Sa Powerbooks, although madami din namang tao, nakakagalaw ka pa. Maybe because bookshelves and couches lang ang makikita dun. Wala yung mga school supplies chuvaness.

Still, I buy magazines from National.
