Palagi itong request ng family and friends ko kung trip nilang kumain ng pasta. I use the milk variation with dissolved cream of mushroom powder. Tip lang para hindi dumikit ang cheese sa pan: keep on stirring. Not naman continuously. Basta yung parang didikit na siya, stir mo na and keep the fire low. Masarap talaga 'to!

Note: Evaporated milk is less fattening than all-purpose cream.

i tried the recipe sis. masarap nga! the second time i made it i added scallops and fresh basil leaves. tapos instead of cheese as toppings i added sliced black olives na lang since the sauce is already cheesy.

thanks for sharing your recipe sis! :-*

hi I cooked Tuna fettucine last night and masarap po siya.  Ubos nga agad eh.

here's what I did:

Ingredients:

1 nestle all purpose cream
1/2 cup water
1 and 1/2 cans century tuna (Flakes in vegetable oil) - drained
1/2 bar cheddar cheese *I used Magnolia's Cheezy but you can use your preferred cheese like quickmelt, etc.* - grated
2 cloves or 2 butil of garlic - minced
1/4 bar butter

1 pack of San Remo Noodles 500 grams - I cooked only half of this

*Serves 5-6 people

1.  Melt butter in pan over low fire.  Once melted, wait 2 minutes and put the garlic.  Fry til the garlic is golden brown.  Add the tuna.  Fry for 5 minutes over low-medium fire.  Add the cream and the water and cheese.  Mix altogether and continue stirring for five-seven minutes (still over low fire) or til the cheese is all melted.

*If not salty enough, you can add more grated cheese or patis, depends on your choice.

2.  Cook Noodles separately.

3.  Put desired amount of sauce onto the noodles and serve.  You may add grated cheese on top.

Masarap siya, promise!  ubos nga agad eh, I'm cooking uli tonight.  Malakas ang demand, hehe.  Kayo na bahala mag-adjust ng quantity ng ingredients if you want to cook for more than 6 people.  I like this because it's not costly.  And very easy to do. :)

sis ginawa ko po ito kahapon , pero nilagyan ko ng evap na maliit at dinagdagan ko ng ham at madaming garlic.

instead of pastea, ived used rice instead. hola! instant fettucini rice na sya (parang sa greenwich). ang sarap. kaya request ulit ito ng family ko tomorrow since mothers day daw. thanks sis TheReason for the easy recipe you taught us.

i also posted this in the carbonara thread, but i use ham and bacon instead of tuna. tried both and proven tasty ;)

1/4 cup butter
1 tbsp garlic
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 small can evaporated milk
1/2 cup water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 brick pack (250 grams) all purpose cream
1 big can century tuna flakes in oil
1 small can mushroom pieces
salt and pepper to taste
250 grams fetuccine, cooked as to package direction

sautee garlic in butter. add flour and whip until it thickens. gradually add water and milk. dissolve the bouillon cube in the mixture and let it boil. pour in the cream then mix in tuna and mushroom until the sauce becomes frothy. toss in pasta and remove from heat when the pasta is completely coated with the sauce (i always advise this para hindi madaling mapanis). season with salt and pepper.

yun, ok na... you may top it with cheese and chopped parsley

sis question lang, ok lang ba ilagay yun cream of mushroom w/ the nestle cream, butter, and cheese?? or yung cream of mushroom substitute na for nestle cream? lactose tolerance kasi si boyfie ko eh! mahirap na, sensitive yun sa creams! hahaha

Tried this tuna fetuccine recipe rin, panalo! ;D Tsalap, parang pasta sa Chicken World, favorite kasi namin ni hubby tuna fetuccine nila.  ;)

Worried nga ko kasi nagluto ako before nito pero chicken ang sahog, for my hubby's bday pa yun ha, di nila nagustuhan, parang pilit na pilit ang expression nila nung hehe. Then I found out the secret to white sauce pasta from my hilaw BIL: you have to add knorr broth cubes to bring out the flavor of the white sauce pla. 8)

Ngayn confident na ko magluto nito ;)

I tried TheReason's recipe, and it's oh so true blue sarap. Winner tlaga siya. Advance Father's Day special nga ang pagluto kong ito sa husband ko. Tapos kanina, I tried adding cream of mushroom and mushrooms, sarap din! So creamy sya..
Normally when I cook, hindi ko malasahan yung niluluto ko if masarap nga sya tlaga o hindi. Pero this time, tlagang na-appreciate ko sya. Nagbaon pa nga ako today dito sa office and nagustuhan din. Halos maubusan pa ako. LOL!
Two thumbs up ang recipe na to!
