Did The Butterfly Effect mess anyone else up?

I was 13 when I saw that movie and I feel like I wasn't really the same after it. Despite it's bad reputation, it was very dark, especially for a younger kid. Not long after watching that movie I started to have anxiety and other mental health issues. I'm not saying it caused them, but maybe acted as a catalyst? There were definitely topics covered in that movie for which 13 year old me wasn't ready. But as an adult, I actively seek out dark and shocking movies/shows/documentaries.
