Long-sleeve/modest advice for meeting partner?s parents?

I?ll (F24) be meeting my partner (M28) of 8 months parents in a couple of weeks. My partner?s parents are Iranian, but have lived in the US since before he was born and are not too strictly religious or traditional as far as he?s told me. However, I am nervous and really want it to go well and want them to like me. I have very visible tattoos on both arms and while I don?t intend on needing to hide them long term or anything, I would prefer to keep them covered the first time so that they?re not potentially distracting and hopefully they can get to know me for my character rather than any preconceived notions. It?s Texas, it?s summer, it?s hot. I usually dress pretty comfy casual and tend to wear shorts and a light top with my Birkenstock?s or white tennis shoes around this time of year. Any ideas on stylish long sleeve pairings? Thank you!!

I've watched a few videos that make shirts more personal, put them off to give myself a unique style. But I don't think it's appropriate to go to a date. I think on the first day you should wear a simple, elegant and comfortable outfit that will make the other person interesting and approachable rather than overdressing.
