Love. I want to stop looking for it.

Sounds bleak but - I haven't truly found anyone I can feel connected to in 2 years. The last two love interests I had (and was close to) ended up with better looking, more accomplished guys.

This had led me to view love as a very materialistic, almost resume-like thing to pursue... Moreover, a lot of guys I know tell me to use "Tactics" to get girls, agreeing to what they say, acting interested even when you're not, etc. etc 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 .

I kind of resist those ideas. I feel like it's a very fake way of pursuing love.

But seriously, I haven't found anyone in 2 years. I haven't been in a relationship ever. Next year I'm turning 23, and I'm more anxious than ever. I'm thinking about stopping so I can focus on better things.

Any advice on how I can stop seeking love/ being so desperate?
