Can someone explain why everyone loves Parasite?

I had such high expectations going into the film so I am extremely disappointed. I understand the film was a dramatic interpretation of class interaction- with the poor leaching off the rich and vice versa- but both families were just so unlikable. The sheer disrespect from the poor family between trashing the house and calling them idiots, basically sacrificing another poor working class couple etc. Meanwhile, the rich family has no consciousness. They don?t care that they are leaving a presumed sick woman in the dust, they don?t have loyalty to their workers, they can?t take care of themselves etc.

I feel like people are going to say that I don?t understand the film and I hope you are right because I feel like an idiot for not liking it. I understand this movie did not want to romanticize either family and make the point that each family did what they needed to survive, but I feel like everything was just too much. Does anyone have an interpretation they would like to share that might make me like this a little more?? Why does everyone praise this movie? Haven?t other movies addressed the class divide? What makes this movie great?
