Parents, how do you organise child care?

Hi everyone, we might have an option to move to NL/Rotterdam. Our kids are preschool and primary school age. I?d love to understand child care in the Netherlands a bit better. Any parents of young children here who could help me on that https://vidmate.onl/ ? Is it common for both parents to work in full time jobs or does one (the mum in most cases I guess) usually cut their hours and income significantly to take care of children (let?s say below 75% of a FT role)?

If both parents are working how is after school care organised? Through the school or will the family hire a care giver?
