Crazy Heart is a crazy good film.

I'm gonna put it out there, I'm going to go vulnerable.

I don't consider myself a fan of country music, hell, I'm not even from THIS country (y'all know what I'm talking about).

I've seen hundreds of films, some make me cry some make me laugh. I've seen films. Films that I was encouraged to watch in school. Films my parents wanted me to see.

But, Crazy Heart is a film I discovered on my own, which maybe is what makes is to intimate and so special. I don't think of this film often, and I don't remember quotes from it - it's not socially popular.

What I do know, though, is that this is my comfort food film. This is where I go, when I feel a unique feeling. When I need a film to make me feel, something, I go here.

I am sure it not for all, but it's the film for me. I'm not a fan of country, nor am I from "the country", or really from one I love.

This film is for the lost. For those who never find, but always search.
