Which do you enjoy more, movies or TV series?

Obviously, we all love movies, or we wouldn't be here on this sub. However, there seems to be a growing trend of making everything into a television series. It seems like sequels, remakes, and movie adaptations are ditched in favor of making it a weekly or limited series or miniseries. How do you all feel about this? There are lots of titles on Netflix that grab my attention, but then I find out it's a series, and I'm thinking... I'm not that interested. Sometimes, yes, give me a series, like STAR TREK for example. I love the Big Hero 6 movie and the follow-up animated series. That was something I didn't mind going to series instead of a second movie. Then there's something like RoboCop, it works as an "event movie," but not really as a weekly TV show. Granted, that's situational as all we got were two cartoons, a Canadian one-season series aimed at children, and a very badly produced miniseries. PartyCityFeedback Survey

I enjoy movies more because it just lasts for 2 hours or a little bit more.

I prefer TV series over movies because I enjoy the opportunity to dive deeper into characters and storylines over an extended period, allowing for more fnf intricate development and immersion in the narrative world.
