WEDDING INDUSTRY: How do I get started/part-time positions?

Hello, everyone!
I'm a 21-year old graduate and I have a really big interest in organizing events, specifically weddings. I currently have a full-time job (in a different industry lol)  but I seriously want to work in the wedding industry. I want to do it part-time, though. Even the entry level position is really tiring or unpaid. I just want to learn for now before I decide whether I'll continue with it.

So, I want to know if this is possible and will anyone hire someone part-time like that? What are your thoughts on this? Thank you
