PCOS TAKING LETROZOLE AND METFORMIN

When I did my sonohysterogram they found PCOS in both my ovaries and the doctor's concern is there is endometrial polyp and suggested removing it. Can anybody here has the same experience is it necessary to remove a polyp prior to taking fertile medication. Thanks a lot.
