Baby carrier

Hi mommies!
Worth it ba mag invest sa baby carrier? Anong brands yung marerecommend nyo na tried and tested na pero reasonable price? Thank you!

As for us, yes, worth it ang carrier. Started babywearing when my daughter was about 5/6 weeks old. We used ring sling then. Then around 6 months we used standard SSC (Pognae brand) until around 2 yrs old. It was sulit kasi wala kaming helper so nakakalabas kami ng bahay na kami lang ni LO to do groceries and other errands without the hassle. Also helped a lot pag nasa mall kasi mabilis sya makatulog sa carrier, and I can breastfeed also while nasa carrier sya.

As for recommendation -- depende, ilang mos na baby mo? If newborn, any type of woven wrap or ring sling is good. Check mo Quality Brands (QB) on Facebook, they sell woven wraps. Wraps and ring sling actually can be used until malaki na si baby. Mura yan compared to SSCs.

With my daughter, hinde kame nag carrier, we relied heavily on her strollers (graco and peg perego). But now that I'm about to give birth to my 2nd child, naisip ko baka maging useful din carrier for us since 1. we're not getting a helper; 2. there are times and places when it's more inconvenient to bring a stroller.

My sister got me a bebe wrap from Petite Bebe PH. Hinde ko pa sya na try gamitin pero sana maging okay naman. Feeling ko lang mejo mainit sya cus it's a lot of fabric so hinde sya pwede sa hubby ko na pawisin.

we have an Ergo Carrier (classic/original)
nagamit naman namin from 6 months till before mag 2 years ang son ko. After that, hinde na nagagamit eh because yung last na gamit namin (we went to HK w/o stroller, carrier lang) eh napagod talaga ako parang ayoko na hehe
feeling ko nasulit ko din naman kahit papano. that time din kasi ayaw  ng son ko sa stroller sa carrier payag siya.
mga 1 year na since huling gamit ng carrier.
gusto ko bumili ng bago yung mga hipseat na sana or yung pwede ng front pacing (limited lang kasi yung classic ni Ergo) pero nanghihinayang ako at ngayon kasi hiyang na yung anak ko sa stroller, tumatagal na siya hehe

Eight years ago we used Saya baby carrier. It's one of my favorite baby items, nasulit sya samen. Sobrang tahimik ng daughter ko dito parang wala kami kasamang baby. It's still in my cabinet and plan to use it for our second.

We had ergo and graco stroller, pero hindi masyado nagamit dati. Graco stroller is still here, gagamitin pa rin para lagayan ng mga gamit pag nasa mall. I hope yung ergo andito pa, baka magamit ng daddy since boy ang second baby.

Yung mga hip seat carrier, hindi ko sure kung maganda ang distribution ng weight sa katawan, sumasakit daw kasi likod ng friend ko.

Sulit naman yung baby carrier kung makikita mo yung magugustuhan niyong dalawa ni baby... Parang hiyangan lang din...

We bought a Lillebaby Airflow, then we were gifted with an Infantino Flip 4-in-1 and a Picolo carrier with hipseat. Nagcarrier kami I think our baby was around 6 weeks old.

Sa 3, mas madalas namin magamit yung Lillebaby kasi comfy sa magsusuot at di mainit sa balat ni baby. Ok din si Infantino, mas mura saka soft material pero I recommend this for babies 3 months and above kasi parang kulang support sa sides nya, parang nakaslouch si baby. Yung with hipseat naman, si hubby mas madalas gumamit and yung hipseat lang (detachable yung carrier/straps). A friend advised against hipseat carriers kasi kaya di ko naging bet.

Though, now at 7 months, nagke-carrier na lang kami pag short trips sa supermarket/mall na walking distance lang or stroll sa garden sa baba ng condo. And for this, we use Lillebaby. Pag malling or pag aalis ng more than 2 hours, stroller na kami. Hassle din kasi pag halimbawa kakain kayo sa resto. Need mo din sya ilapag somewhere lalo pag tulog.

My baby is almost 4 weeks old and I've used the Petite Bebe bebe wrap thrice so far. It's convenient to use when we were at the supermarket cus walang stroller na kelangan maneuver along the aisles. Mejo bulky yung wrap for me cus I'm only 5' and it's a loooong stretch of fabric. However, I don't plan on exploring other carriers/wrap cus hirap ako mag carry for long periods of time due to my back pains and si hubby naman sobrang pawisin. I think for us, it's a good alternative pag tinatamad kame magstroller.

Hi mga sis. We already checked baby carriers sa mall. Pricey nga siya, kaya we are looking sa carrier na pwedeng matagal gamitin? I mean yung pwedeng pang New Born until kahit mga 3 years old. Pero wala kame nakita. Mostly nakikita namin until 6months lang.

^ wraps, they're OK for newborns to toddlers, though for me medyo overwhelming kasi ang haba ng fabric, pwede din ring sling kaso nakakangawit daw pag medyo malaki na si baby. Ssc pwede din sa newborn basta may insert. We used L&c na Ssc, my kids started using it when they had good head support na, Pero I like it kasi may back extenders siya for toddlers na though Hindi pa din namin nagamit kasi nung nag toddler yung eldest ko ayaw naman na din magpa karga haha
