Ididiscuss pa din daw ang Franchise renewal ng ABS CBN pero next year na daw kasi "plenty of time" naman. Hanggang March pa naman daw.

Pero malaki ang chance hindi nila i renew yan, daming "puppet" ngayon sa politics. Power tripping at its finest.

ABS has been preparing for this for some time now. may mga nakapagsabi sakin na intensified ang diversification nila to survive the remaining years ni Duterte, Saka after their franchise expires in March 2020, they can still legally operate for 12 months, so konting kembot na lang yun until the next presidency. Another option nila is to just air in cable or use their S&A channel to air some shows,

Pero may chika din na plano ni Dennis Uy itake over ang ABS from the Lopezes, As of now, nag setup na sya ng Udenna Media sa SEC at may partnership na with the Lopez group, ABS share prices dropped immediately after DIgong's statement at may mga nag short sell ng stocks...so mas mura mabibili yung shares...great opportunity for anyone who wants to start making a move para makakuha ng shares at a lower price

re: veganism. Marami akong kilalang vegan na hindi naman sobrang payat. Yes, they lost weight initially pero hindi naman to the point na unhealthy sila or naospital or what. In fact, most of them do sports pa nga, meron pang isa na body builder. Pure vegan ito ah, hindi vegetarian.

And pag sinabi kasing vegan, hindi naman necessary healthy. Ang daming processed foods na vegan, meaning walang animal ingredients. Corn chips are mostly vegan, eh kataas ng sugar/carb content ng mga yon. Lays and Oreos nga vegan eh. So hindi naman lahat ng vegans eh nangangayayat ng ganun kadrastic. It's all about healthy diet talaga. May plant foods rin naman na mataas sa protein so hindi naman necessary na may deficiency sa nutrition ang mga vegans. (FYI, I'm not a vegan). Anyway, whether or not Maxene is healthy, we won't know for sure.

I like how you see money-making opportunity...hahaha! So, yes it's wiser to buy while it's low. Anyways, that's what's likely to happen, ABS-CBN will still exist but new owners. But let's be fair, kung hindi nila type ang candidates then don't take the money. That isn't hard and from what hindi malayong marami silang naibulsa but just didn't say anything because let's face it, mainstream media especially in the past years has a lot of power in persuading public opinion.

Also, hindi kalinisan yang mga Lopez's. The water concessionaires scam that was recently disclosed? The Lopez's were involved. Dapat daw pala Ayala lang yung may contract pero binraso nila yun. They eventually sold it to the Manny Pangilinan (btw, related ba sila?). You are paying these rich people billions of pesos for something you didn't get and isn't getting. Let that sink in. You can't even drink the water.

If Duterte has an issue with ABS CBN not airing the ads he paid for, then he should sue them and take the proper legal recourse. Instead, he is using his vendetta against ABS (who never supported his candidacy) to end their franchise. Galit din siya because ABS aired that controversial Trillanes video. Do we really need more proof that he is resorting to dictator levels of threats?

Is it a coincidence those who did not openly support Duterte like ABS, Ayalas, MVPangilinan are now being criticised and penalised by Duterte. The water fiasco definitely needs looking into, considering what a fiasco it has turned out to be, but the point is go through the proper legal channels. Hindi yung puro threats, puro "P--Ina this, P---Ina that..." (minura niya yung mga Ayalas and Pangilinan).

And I agree with someone's post above, yang mga Oligarchs that Duterte is fighting now, they will simply be replaced by other rich businessmen, Dut's own business allies, who will do whatever it takes to also make money. The Ayalas, Lopezes, MVP aren't perfect and I'm sure like big businesses, they have resorted to questionable practices. Do you seriously think Duterte's own business tycoons will be any different? No way. Considering who Duts surrrounds himself with, I bet mas madumi pa yung mga yan. At least the Ayalas, MVP etc have done some good over the decades.

And to go back to showbiz, here in the Philippines the worlds of the President and showbiz are often closely intertwined pero ngayon lang may Presidente na feeling Lolit Solis sa pagka chismoso and bakya. I can't even say feeling Boy Abunda, at least si Abunda one level up and mas dignified yun pagka chismoso.
