^Actually, there is no way that you can tell that someone is depressed just by looking at their appearance or just because they function normally. 3 years ago, I was clinically diagnosed with depression and had to undergo counselling + medications for 2 years. I still went to work, I worked out everyday, I hung out with my friends, but underneath all that, I was already thinking of ending my life. People always commented how blooming and beautiful I looked because I still took time to take care of myself. But it didn't mean that something wasn't brewing inside. The worst part came  when I closed my eyes while driving at 3am and my car skidded to the island in C5.

So I get depression. I get na pwede ngang may pinagdadaanan sya. Pero nung time that I was deep into it, never naman ako nagpabaya sa work. May mga times that I would skip work cus I cant function and gusto ko lang matulog so I could escape my problems and my issues. There was even a time when I slept from Friday to Sunday morning.

Different people, different way of handling things, I know. But depression isn't an excuse for bad behaviour and treating others poorly. Yun din sana maintindihan ng mga tao and hinde gawing excuse palage ang depression to justify ill manners.

Depress na siya kung depress pero sa true lang nakasira siya ng negosyo. Meron pa pala siyang concert, sana wag siya magtantrums uli.

Swerte ng hindi nagpabaya sa work or hindi nagmisbehave.. but some people will tend to do that..

Nagsalita si Jobert sa FB. Na-trigger daw ata dahil sa interview ni Mario Dumaual. Pero nakita ko naman yung interview at maayos naman. Hindi naman sya na-harass. Kung ayaw nya tatanungin tungkol sa personal life, pwede naman nya sabihin siguro? Besides, that's the nature of the beast. Parang yung BF ang ugat ng gulo sa family nila.

Kung nasa point na siya na nagpapabaya sa career and nagmi-misbehave dapat na siya magseek ng professional help. Kasi hindi naman niya pwede sabihin na sorry ha salbahe ako sayo at nasaktan kita kasi may depression ako kaya tanggapin mo nalang kung anong gagawin ko sayo. Hindi siya pagpapasensyahan lagi ng ibang tao lalo na kung nakakaabala na siya sa negosyo at kabuhayan ng iba. Wala naman ibang makakatulong sa taong may depression kundi sarili niya lang.

^ I agree. If she needs help then sana magpacheck and therapy na sya agad and take some time off work muna siguro. Mental health issues like depression is not an excuse for bad behavior. Yung mga kabataan ngayon they're using the depression card as an escape and excuse sa mga attitude problems nila.

I think yung judgment na unprofessional ay magandang i-base sa ilang previous events na nagpakitang unprofessional talaga sya. Or nakailang events nang ginamit ang depression card.

If this is the first time, wala naman talaga syang magagawa kung inatake sya ng episode (e.g., depressive episode, anxiety attack, manic episode). Di naman naten masabi kung ano meron sa brain at physiology nya during that time. Paulit ulit na inuuntog ang ulo sa pader ay hindi normal, one of the signs nga yun ng autism in kids eh, its purpose is to soothe one's self, which obviously didn't work on her.

What she will do after this incident will determine her sense of accountability to her health, her career, and the people she's responsible to. But basing her character or work ethics solely on this incident, seems like not that reliable, especially when her mental state is not healthy or functional.

Anyway, I don't know much about her din naman, and too bad for her as news nowadays spread like wildfire and people can be reactive.

minsan naman kahit wala naman depression or any mental illness mga artista mahilig mag walkout lalo na kapag di nila nagustuhan interview, ginagawa nalang dahilan mental illness sa pag walkout..baka naman talaga may attitude problema sya kc sya yung na blind item na may attitude daw talaga..I remember si Kbrosas inatake ng anxiety attack during her judging sa tawag ng tanghalan pero diba di naman sya nag walkout..same as sarah during her concert sa dubai kahit nahirapan na sya tuloy parin yun talaga on the spot inatake ng depression sa concert pero tuloy parin...sya naman nag walk out nakasimangot..maintindihan ko pa sana kung malungkot sya or naiiyak parin during walkout nya.

dont get me wrong naniniwala po ako sa Depression and anxiety me personally pinaglalabanan ko rin yan till now. mas malala pa ako noon. sila na may kakayahang magpatingin iniisip ko bakit di sila magpatingin kung meron talaga silang anxiety at severe/mild depression in private dahil may kakayanan nga sila. sana now na alam na ng mga relatives nya at close sa kanya sana matulungan siya if gusto pa rin ni Morissette na maging stable career nya sa Industriya ng pag kanta, dahil madaming kahelera nya na same lang din naman ang boses sa kanya. at naiintindihan ko rin na bawat tao iba iba ang coping mechanisms. sana tularan nalang nya at ng iba pang may pinagdadaanan emotionally at mentally  si Diego loyzaga na nag hiatus now at nagpapahinga, nagpapagaling physically and mentally kasi makaka apekto talaga yung mga nararamdaman nya sa trabaho yun lang po.

^^I'm only basing on Jobert's side of story, kung wala siguro inuumpog sarili after getting triggered by what's supposed to be a neutral situation and the sudden flipping of mood, I may have brushed this topic off.  Signs yun there's something, or was she just acting? Baka nga habit nya mag-umpog ng ulo pag distressed sya eh, a behavior that deviates from the norm. It's not a sign of entitlement, attitude prob, or kabastusan, it's a problem of self-regulation. Flipping of mood is also something, doesn't always signify pangit ugali, meron ganyan talaga. Iba naman din yung nag wo-walk out.

Pero baka naman din kasi yung iba tingin talaga pangit ugali nya, yung iba tingin mayabang. Hindi ko na alam yun, LOL. I came on this topic without any pre-conceived notion about her and just based my opinion on what I read from Jobert's account and being on the psych field.

Que she will use illness as an excuse or own up, bottom line is she needs help. What happened was really a huge mess for her. Maybe in their industry, there is no place for understanding such cases. At tska in their business, kailangan talagang emotionally and psychologically resilient ka, having a good support system din is a big help, mukhang wala yata sya nyan. Mas nadagdagan problema nya ngayon.

True. Pero kailangan niya i-acknowledge na may problema siya para masolusyunan kasi wala naman ibang unang tutulong sa kanya kundi sarili niya kasi siya mas nakakaalam ng nararamdaman niya. Then maybe yung support na need mula sa family niya or kung kanino man e makuha niya na kapag clinically diagnosed na may mental illness siya.

Hindi ko lang maintindihan kung ano ba talaga...hahaha! Nata-trying hard-an kasi ako sa pagpapatawa nya. Okay naman sya before at nagagandahan nga ako, actually.

Re: Roxanne Barcelo, I actually find her behavior odd if not disturbing. Trying hard din. Parang sa una matatawa ka but in the long run you'll find her annoying.
