^ Agree, I do not believe that Heart or even KC were ever into the escort business. Not only do they NOT need it as they come from families with money naman, they have been courted by scions of super rich families, kung gusto lang nila ng pera, that would have been an easier route.
Heart has been one of the biggest brand endorsers of her generation. I don't think she made it big in the movies but she made so much money from endorsements. The same for KC. Yung mga much lesser stars nga, mga B-list celebrities, you see their houses and you wonder how they were able to afford that. The big celebrities make enough money that if managed well, they can afford to have properties and good lifestyles.
Heart's ex boyfriends came from money (Delgado and Dy) but she could have been with someone much, much richer pa if she chose to. Sayang siya, she could have done much better than Chiz!
Sayang Heart and KC missed the chance to marry the grandson of Jaime Zobel who just got married a few weeks ago LOL!
Out of all the names I have heard linked to the escort business, I've never heard of Heart's or KC's names.
Si Ruffa Mae was also an escort. That's how she met Mikey Arroyo who eventually became her married boyfriend. I saw them on a trip together many, many years ago. He is gross.
Even si Nanette Medved, before her marriage to Chris Po, she used to be with the older and married wealthy father of a friend of mine. And she was so young then pero already with a much older wealthier man. Tapos there were rumours one of her clients was the Tito of her husband-to-be that's why the family rejected her at the beginning.
Pero she has totally reinvented herself.
Manila is so small, you often hear the same names being thrown about as escorts or mistresses.
Edited to add: Heart's parents are wealthy because they sold most of their equity and shares in the family business sometime back pa. They CASHED OUT on their shares which is an important point. When that transaction happened, it was the talk of the town within the banking community in Manila. The amount wasn't in the billions, but certainly enough that the parents don't have to work for the rest of their lives.
I always laugh when people that don't like Heart claim her family is "poor". No they are not. Yes, there are much wealthier Ongpauco's who have more stake in the family business but that doesn't mean Heart's parents are "poor".
