Maternity Benefits in Your Company
« on: October 05, 2019, 10:30:40 am »
Hi, mommies!
Ano yung maternity benefits na offered sa company ninyo aside from the ones mandated by the govt?

Sa amin 126 days of paid ML (including yung nasa expanded maternity law) + 1 month of salary

Hindi covered ng HMO namin yung any preganancy-related procedure like ultrasound. Consultation fee lang ni OB yung narereimburse namin. And then may 10k na medicine allowance for one year na pwede gamitin sa vitamins. Yung paternity leave naman lasts 4 weeks.

I'm curious kung ano yung offered sa ibang companies. Salamaaat!

sa company namin, we have paid maternity leave so 105 days din...

I stopped working na. Currently based in Australia. Dito pag may medicare (parang Philhealth), free ang consultations/ ultrasounds.. pati panganganak mapa normal or CS. Basta sa public health which is parang private sa pinas kasi mas malaki mas complete.
Hubby works in a bank, paid paternity leave nila is 4 weeks. Mention ko lang, unli SL din sila.. meaning pag nagkasakit or may important appointments (like sasamahan nya ko sa checkups ko) no need for medcert, text lang yung boss. Sana ganito din satin.

Also nabasa ko sa company website nila- offers 12 weeks of paid maternity leave, 52 weeks of unpaid maternity leave and 4 weeks of paid paternity leave - $1500 return to work bonus

^That's right. Hinde naman kase illness ang pregnancy. Yung inclusion ng maternity sa HMO is usually company paid.

With us, unlimited pre and post natal check ups lang covered. I'm happy though that we have 112 days paid maternity leave dahil at least sumu sweldo kahit walang pasok.

Hi Mommies!

Here?s what we get from our company:

1. 105 days paid ML
2. Pre-natal consultations (up to 14)
3. All my meds,  vitamins and Hepa B vaccine
4. All lab tests except OGTT and Group B Streptococcal Antigen test
5. All ultrasound procedures (naka-4 ako including yung 4D)
6. All childbirth expenses in the hospital including yung kay baby
7. Baby gets HMO coverage day 1

Lahat ng medical expenses covered by our HMO, up to 4 deliveries only.

Btw, when I gave birth last Aug, since I used my HMO, limited lang ang amount na babayaran ng HMO for professional fees. I already anticipated this, so I prepared cash in case na magpadagdag ng PF si OB. True enough, nagbayad pa ako ng dagdag na PF, pero ok naman kasi very good ang service na binigay ng OB ko from the first check-up until now.

Hello FayeP!

Kapag gumamit kasi ng HMO, negotiated rate lang talaga ang binabayaran nila. In my case for normal delivery, Php 6k lang yung PF na binayaran which is the negotiated and agreed rate nila with my OB. Nagulat nga ako kasi ang mura lang ng PF, and I felt na medyo unfair sa OB ko na mababa lang ang rate despite doing the procedure sa tertiary hospital. So when she asked for additional, I did not have second thoughts about it. Hindi rin naman sobrang laki dinagdag ko (although greater than 6k) kasi sobrang dali lang ng case ko, lumabas si baby in less than 18 minutes! Lol, mas matagal pa yung pagtahi. 😂

ah pero at least mas madali dali bayaran kasi mas maliit sa normal na PF ng mga OBs...good for you sis..

Yes, talagang pinag-pray ko na normal delivery kasi natatakot ako just thinking about going under the knife pag CS. Thank God hindi na breech si baby during my last ultrasound. How about you, naconfirm mo na ba sa ultrasound na cephalic na si baby?
