Do guys this attractive normally get treated this way in school?

I know a guy at my school who is my classmate, and this of course means that I see him quite often.
And the thing about this guy is that he is considered insanely attractive to the point of almost absurdity to almost all girls there - he is maybe 6'6 tall and has a fantastic physique, beautiful eyes and fantastic looks in general, and it's very hard to resist looking at him.
This of course means that girls are head over heels for him, and even though I know several very attractive guys, this particular guy has taken it to another level.
Here are just a small handful of all the invites that I have seen him get:

*a girl walks past me and the guy while we are sitting next to each other during recess - she notices him and gazes straight at him with great interest while she walks past him, and the way she walks seems to become a bit more sensual, and maybe 20 feet away she looks over her shoulder and gazes straight at him with large eyes and a smile for probably a minute before she has to leave for a class

*various girls walk up to him on lots of different occasions and act cute in front of him, and ask for a date a couple minutes later - if he says yes to that then they sometimes give him a long hug before they leave

*groups of girls walk past him on different occasions and say "hiii" to him with very flirty voices, then look at him while he walks away and start talking about how hot he is

*whenever he sits down next to a girl that he doesn't know, that girl starts glancing at him over and over and starts playing with her hair and looking nervous

*if he makes physical contact with a girl that he is talking to, that girl always reacts with a flattered smile and moves a bit closer to him

*he often has two girls sitting on both sides of him, and I have even seen him walk home from school with those girls while embracing both of them with his arms - and it's been different girls each time as well

*girls constantly tell him how incredibly good-looking he is

*girls who are very shy just stand and gaze at him from a distance, without being able to take their eyes off him, while playing with their hair a lot and nervously moistening their lips - and in that whole time, they never stop gazing at him for even a moment

*if a girl catches him looking at her breasts or her butt, she just giggles and lets him check her out some more, and then sometimes approaches him

Is this normal for a guy who is as super-hot as him?
It seems like he gets girls served on a silver platter constantly and just picks and chooses...?
