Hello Everyone!

Again I did not find any active thread exclusively for CS Birth, so I opened a new one. 
I'm contemplating on having a CS to avoid issues with birthing.

I would like to ask those who had experienced CS section, what was your experience?
TMI is more than welcome!

How you prepared for it? (Emotionally, Physically, Item wise)
How did you have it? (Elected or Emergency)
If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS?

Horizontal (Bikini cut) or Vertical Incision?
How did they close the incision?  (staples, suture, etc.)
How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful?
How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where?

My 1st was a planned CS. I was 23 yo. This was 7 years ago, in Manila. Ill try my best to remember.

Reason for CS: Breech.
Baby wouldnt move. Yung iba pinaiikot daw sa manghihilot or midwife, I didnt want to do that.

Vertical incision. I didnt get to choose the type I didnt know if I have that option basta my OB decided to do vertical maybe bec of babys position.

I was prepared bec its my 1st baby I wanted to see him already. I was on general anesthesia so I was asleep all throughout but I remember tinabi sa face ko si baby when they delivered him but I was so groggy. I wish I was awake.
When they transferred me from surgery room to my room, nagising ako kasi may masakit dahil naaalog yung katawan ko bec of strecher/ hospital bed gusto ko awayin yung nurse sana magdahan dahan sa pagtulak.

Pain level 8. I couldnt go to the bathroom and I guess thats expected bec when I woke up theres a catheter attached to my clitoris 😂 so I could still pee even while lying down.

I couldnt stand yet so I was put in a wheelchair to see my baby in the nursery room. But when I was discharged the following day, I could carry my baby already while standing.

I felt the pain for 3 days lang ata. Its easy for me to recover for some reasons. From day 1, I was asked to put a binder and if my memory serves me right, I did it for 2-3 months. Basta the whole time I was on maternity leave. No issue with the scar like bleeding etc. I forgot what I used to clean the scar but Dr will tell you.

Yes it was painful to breastfeed, so please plan your BF journey 😊 pwede na pala mag take ng malunggay capsule while youre on your 8th month pregnancy. I used manual pump- I immediately regret it. I prefer to use electric this time.

Im a 2nd time mom, most likely CS as well. Although Im based here in Sydney now and Drs prefer I deliver the baby up until 38 or 39 weeks daw.
They seemed surprised to find out I had planned CS at 37 weeks only bec baby is breech- sabi nila pwede pa daw yun paabutin 38 wks kasi wala naman complications like contractions etc. Nagkataon lang ayaw nya umikot. Dr here is asking for my operative record to check exactly what happened like amount of blood loss etc. Hospitals will give this to you naman once youre discharged, I suggest u keep it in case ma-CS ka ulit they will ask for it. Also, no nail polish 😅

How you prepared for it? (Emotionally, Physically, Item wise) I was really excited to see my baby and hoping for safe delivery so when OB told me I have to deliver him via CS it's fine because I set my mind that its safe for me and for the baby.
How did you have it? Emergency CS because baby is cord coil 7cm na ko pero wala pa din si baby and pinutok na ni OB yung water bag ko but still no progress, then check ult heartbeat ni baby bumabagal na and she told me na possible na cord coil si baby. So she decided na iCS nako, and yes tama nga cord coil si baby pero hindi sa neck instead sa leg that is why ayaw niya bumaba.
If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS? I tried both CS and normal delivery. But for safety wise, I will choose normal again even tho super hirap ng labor and super duper sakit yung pagtatahi swear! Unlike nung CS ako smooth sailing lang and mas relax ako.

Horizontal (Bikini cut) or Vertical Incision? Vertical Incision but they don't give me option.
How did they close the incision?  (staples, suture, etc.)
How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful? 6 during the operation no pain at all because of general anesthesia pero nung nawala may pain but tolerable and the next day I stand w/help and slow walking.
How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where? My baby is turning 2 years old na but until now sometimes I feel the pain inside, outside wound is healed already.
How was the Bleeding (vaginal and incision site)? It's like I have a menstruation, in my wound no bleeding
How did you cope with the bleeding and pain? After I discharged in the hospital my OB prescribed me some capsule for my wound and for the pain which I taking up for 1 week.
Was it painful to breastfeed? Yes. Its painful to breastfeed I have to get the good position para iiwas ang wound and that time I am first time mom so it's really painful also when baby is sucking my nipple.

How did you care for the incision? I clean it with agua and betadine then after applying ointment
Did you use belly binders right away?  yes If not when? Im using it everyday because its easy to move with binders.
What underwear did you use? I'm using a nursing bra to breastfeed for easy access and just ordinary panties.
How was the scar tissue?  (Keloid, very visible, etc.) Keloid and visible

How you prepared for it? I was not prepared but i have no choice. First time ko e. Trust the experts na lang.

How did you have it? Emergency. Ayaw talaga lumabas ni baby kahit anong push ko. Active labor na ako. 4hours na nakalipas since pumutok bag ko wala pa rin. Maliit kasi akong babae, malaki daw ulo baby kaya ayaw makalabas. Hahah

If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS? CS para derecho na ayoko na dumaan sa sakit na dinaan ko tas tun pala ma CCS lang din at ayaw ko na may sugat sa tiyan may sugat pa sa vagina.
And yung masakit pa yung hemorrhoids ko and nagka de quervain ako 'nun maybe dahil induced labor ako so mas mabuti next time derecho na ako CS.

How did they close the incision?  I have no idea.

How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful? During the operation didnt feel pain yung after mga 7 or 8.

How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where? Maybe 1month but bearable na siya, incision area.

How was the Bleeding (vaginal and incision site)? Vagina normal lang parang menstruation lang pero annoying last up to ilang weeks or a month not sure. Incision, so far so good.

How did you cope with the bleeding and pain? Keep moving lang bear with it. Slowly but surely. Mas mabilis magheal or back to normal if mobile ka.

Was it painful to breastfeed? No. Normal lang. Mas mabilis contractions so mas mabilis ka magheal. Imagine we had no one that time, everytime the baby cries in the middle of the night or everyday i have to wake up, stand and carry then breastfeed. I was able to exclusively breastfeed for 6months now and that's direct latch. I do also the laundry but washing machine. Do some household chores that time and kaka opera ko lang.

How did you care for the incision? I let my husband do it takot ako tumingin that time.

Did you use belly binders right away?  Yes.

What underwear did you use? Maternity panty ko [textspeak!] malaki.

How was the scar tissue? Yung first time ko siya makita parang super thin line lang not visible but i think nagka keloid siya dahil di ko alam san exactly [textspeak!] scar so [textspeak!] edge ng binder sa baba nasa scar na pala kala ko kasi sa may puson [textspeak!] scar. Di ko rin ginamitan ng mga scar creams after 4months ko pa siya nilagyan ng dermatix si doc di rin kasi nag recommend agad. But its not bad naman to look di naman siya kita.

Anything you wished you did or have during and after your CS? I should have checked my wound sana everyday and not afraid to look at it para maayos talaga yung pag care. Sana nag apply agad ako ng scar cream.

Any additional advice for would be CS moms? Just keep moving slowly but surely. Breastfeed para mabilis contractions.

9 years ago, I had en emergency CS when I gave birth to my daughter.

How you prepared for it? No preparation haha

How did you have it? (Elected or Emergency) Emergency.  It came as a surprise because we were all set for normal delivery. Everything was in place. But then my labor didn't progress and I was stuck at 1cm with almost no amniotic fluid left. My baby's heartbeat dropped and it turned out she had a cord coil on her neck.

If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS?
CS pa din cus I didn't go through labor pains

Horizontal (Bikini cut) or Vertical Incision?  I pushed for a bikini cut

How did they close the incision?  (staples, suture, etc.) I have no idea. I just know that they closed it.

How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful?
around 7-8 post delivery when the anaesthesia wore out

How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where? The pain was there for about 2 weeks. After that, may pinching pain pag malamig. Up to now actually.

How was the Bleeding (vaginal and incision site)? 1 month lang ako nag bleed  menstrually. I thought it would be longer. Incision parang days lang naman tapos  nag dry na din.

How did you cope with the bleeding and pain? used a binder

Was it painful to breastfeed? Nope

How did you care for the incision? I followed the post CS care instructions by my OB

Did you use belly binders right away?  If not when? Yes I did. And I wore binders for everyday for about 5 months kaya I had no excess skin and my tummy went back to normal. I even got my abs back when I started working out again after 8 months.

What underwear did you use? High waisted undies

How was the scar tissue?  (Keloid, very visible, etc.) Only when you scrutinize it.

If you are a second time or more mom did they open from the same CS site? I'm not sure pa. Currently 7 mos pregnant with my 2nd.

Anything you wished you did or have during and after your CS? I wished they allowed my hubby during my delivery kahit dun sa pulling out of the baby part na lang. Dito sa 2nd, I've made arrangements with my OB na.

I would like to ask those who had experienced CS section, what was your experience?
Checkup lang namin dapat at 37w5d, kaso nakita sa ultrasound na mababa na amniotic fluid level, and calcifying na ang placenta. Sabi ni doc (which was a reliever nung actual OB ko na naka leave that time), admit na raw ako agad that day, and he'll deliver the baby via CS na raw.

How you prepared for it? (Emotionally, Physically, Item wise)
Nung sinabi sa amin na CS kami mauuwi, medyo nadismaya kasi nagtitipid sana kami, lalo pa nasa private hospital kami. Pero ang sa amin na lang ni hubby, whatever method that delivers baby safely, dun kami.

How did you have it? (Elected or Emergency)
Elected / elective (?) lol. I had a monitoring thingy (ano nga tawag dun? yung nakastrap sa tummy tapos imonitor yung movements ng baby? haha. momnesia na sorry) and nung nakita na makakapaghintay pa si baby, they booked the OR theater next day. which was ok rin, para hindi rush ang preps. Nakapag-fasting pa, proper preps, chill muna night day and before kahit wala akong tulog dahil siguro sa excitement hehe.

If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS?
Given the situation, the only thing on my mind is, "ilabas niyo na si baby." So wapakels na kung anong way, sunod lang ako sa doctor kahit feeling ng hipag ko pineperahan ako... siguro kasi feeling niya madadaan pa sa induce. Inexplain naman ng doc na hindi na safe ang induction gawa nga nung low fluid level, baka di raw kayanin ni baby. Basically, to answer the question, most of the time, it is not for me/you to choose. It's almost always and most importantly the doctor's, because they know what is best for you and the baby.

Di ko alam eh. hahaha. di ko nasilip nung medyo fresh pa. pero parang walang staples or anything.

How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful?
mga 8? this was only during the time na need nang tumayo at maglakad. and yes, for FTM, you will need to walk because as counterproductive as it sounds, it will help in your recovery.

How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where?
By the time na nadischarge kami (admit ng Tuesday, Wednesday ang CS, Saturday ang discharge), makirot pero parang naalala ko na di na yata ako masyado umiinom ng pain reliever nun. by Tuesday the following week, nagd-drive na ko ulit. haha

How was the Bleeding (vaginal and incision site)?
incision site: no reported bleeding. need mo ireport kung meron.
vaginal (as in locchia): yeah, medyo madugo for the first three days. normal to. baon na lang ng pads.

How did you cope with the bleeding and pain?
pain reliever, pads, and tiis-ganda. hahaha. di naman masyado malala ang pain. mas masakit pa yung time na buntis ako, yung discomfort ng bigat ng baby. mas ok pa itong postpartum time ko.

Was it painful to breastfeed?
yes. ayaw maglatch masyado ni baby. if you can ask for help from a lactation consultant, go.

How did you care for the incision?
nung medyo natuyo  na few weeks after, sabi lang ni doc na iscrub pa

Did you use belly binders right away? If not when?
No. Kasi I didn't have any, ayaw na gumastos. I only have the belly binder support which was not of help postpartum.

What underwear did you use?
I had a couple of maternity undies from the hospital, parang boyleg panties. Other than that I just used my previous ones.

How was the scar tissue?  (Keloid, very visible, etc.)
Walang keloid, kita pag tinitigan pero sakto lang, di naman yata super obvious. Hehe

Anything you wished you did or have during and after your CS?
-I wish I would have invested in a proper binder (Wink yata yung usong brand diyan sa Pinas). panget ng tiyan ko, mataba na nga, lawlaw pa bilbil hahahaha
-I wish I had maximized the lactation counselor na nagvisit sakin, kasi wala ako sa tamang hwisyo nung dumating siya dahil pa-discharge na kami nun. If nakapagpaturo ako ng proper latching early on, baka na-EBF ko si baby. pero kahit hindi man, ok na rin. healthy naman ang anak ko.

Any additional advice for would be CS moms?
-wag magbuhat ng mabigat.
-wag sarilinin ang lahat ng mga gawain. humingi ng tulong pag kailangan, at tanggapin kung ano mang tulong ang binibigay sayo.
-kaya mo yan. makakaraos ka rin. ang mahalaga safe kayo ni baby, ok na yun.

I had a funny moments during na sini-CS ako and let me try to answer all these questions 

How you prepared for it? (Emotionally, Physically, Item wise)
>Emotionally- bigla akong nastressed kasi dapat Feb 16 pa ang schedule ko pero dahil pumutok na panubigan ko, my OB advised me na iCS na nga ako. Dahil hindi ako ready for that day, sinabi ko sa OB ko na tomorrow na lang (Feb 11).  After we went to my OB, nagpaback massage ako kasi sobrang naninigas yung shoulders ko sa sobrang stressed.

>Physically- My scheduled was 6am and then I woke up like 4am to prepare myself. Nagmake up pa ako. Blush on and lipstick  . Pagdating namin sa hospital, pinabura lahat sakin ng nurse.  Sabi ko wag na lang kasi baka pangit ako sa picture. Hindi sila pumayag kasi baka hindi daw nila mapansin kung umiitim ako or what. Sayang effort. 

How did you have it? (Elected or Emergency)
-It turned to Emergency CS dahil sa katigasan ng ulo ko. Eversince hindi ko kaya na walang water sa loob ng isang oras so what more yung almost 20hrs no water at all.  Sabi nung OB and Anesthesiologist  ko walang water talaga. Pero pagdating ko sa hospital hindi ko kinaya, kaya kahit water sa cr (yung sa sink lang ah at konti lang masahiran [textspeak!] lalamunan ko) ininom ko. eeeeiiiwww kung eeiww pero feeling ko mamatay ako ng walang water..hahaha

If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS?
- Mas gusto ko sana Normal delivery para mas feel ko na nanganak talaga ako.

Horizontal (Bikini cut) or Vertical Incision?
-Gusto ko bikini cut sana pero sabi ng OB ko mas matagal ang healing process pag bikini cut so vertical ang ginawa.

How did they close the incision?  (staples, suture, etc.)
-As far as I remember, staples.

Was it painful to breastfeed? No, I was amazed pa nga na may lumabas na gatas e. Naoperahan kasi ako sa breast (bilateral), my surgeon advised me na baka di ako makapagpabreastfeed kasi baka wala ng milk na lumabas.

Did you use belly binders right away?  If not when?
-Yes. Masakit kasi pag wala.

Tomorrow ko na lang sagutin yung iba. Pa out na rin ako..

Nanganak na pala sya sa 2nd baby nya, CS ulit.
Pwede pala yun masundan agad?
Kasi May 2018 yung 1st nya na CS din, then 2nd is Oct 2019.
Napagoogle ako... shes currently 37, and her goal is to have 4 babies by the time shes 40. Most likely yung 3rd & 4th babies nya CS na din diba? Keri pa ba ng katawan natin yun?

^Alam ko nga dapat at least 4 years yata yung gap, if I'm not mistaken. The incision outside kase may be fully healed pero yung incision sa uterus, pwede mag rupture ulit. Oh well, I'm sure alam naman yan ng doctor nya pero kung ako siguro, I wouldn't risk it.

Sabi ng pedia ko since she was also CS before, 2years is the most okay na gap to get pregnant again but my OB told me, na you won't get pregnant if not yet okay si uterus so if you got pregnant that means okay na.

She even has a patient na CS first child then after a month na buntis daw ulit and then the second child is normal delivery na. Nabuntis agad since di rin daw nag brebreastfeed dahil parang na iwan pa sa hospital ang baby dahil preemie. Same year daw birthdate ng magkapatid

me!! CS din me sa first then 7months si first baby, na preggy ulit ako at ndeliver ko sya ng normal kaya lang unfortunately naging angel na sya preemie baby sya going 8months na sya nun sa sinapupunan ko. Last January lang nangyari

Btw momshies kauuwi ko lang from my check up. Im currently 21 wks & 4 days. Sabi ni doc, kahit CS ako last time, and its not a classic cut rather low vertical cut (magkaiba pala yun. Kala ko basta patayo ang tahi, CS na) pwede pa pala ko mag normal.
She discussed pa din the risks and all.. in fairness shes very transparent. Pero yun nga, by 34 weeks they will check me again kung ano decision ko. Which i appreciate dahil gusto nila ko mag normal.
Dito kasi sa public health (pero parang st Lukes kasi maganda & malaki), they wont let you have CS unless kelangan talaga. So sabi ni doc kung kaya ko paabutin 40 wks go for it! Hanggat di ako nagle-labor di ako manganganak at dun lang sila magdedecide if CS talaga ko.
Actually keber lang sakin either way, kasi free naman dito sa Australia, basta healthy lang kami ni baby yun lang.

Smooth naman ng pregnancy ko kay 2nd baby with regular check ups but unfortunately nagkaron ako ng coughs that night yung cough na di ka patutulugin kc makati sa lalamunan. That night ONLY then nung morning nagkafever ako sabay na din na nagspotting ako and mild contraction punta agad kami sa nearest hospital and they checked me, pinag take ako ng pampakapit at inject ng pang develop ng lungs ni baby kasi baka magtuloy ang contraction then observe ako. After ilang hours nawala contraction, pinauwi kami ni hubby pero may mga kailangan itake na pampakapit during bed rest as in bedrest higa all day. Kaya lang nung hapon nagkaron ulit ako ng contraction na umabot ng gabi yung tipong di ko na matake ang sakit sabay na madaming blood na ang lumabas sakin. Pagdating hospital full cm na ako at di ko ini expect na maidedeliver ko siya ng normal nagkaron pa din ako ng cut sa pempem kahit preemie siya.  Lumabas siya na di pa develop ang lungs at 1day lang siya nabuhay. Sobrang sakit na makita mo baby mo na nirerevive at nahihirapan. And his last minute kinarga ko siya para yakapin, halikan, magsorry at sabihan ng i love you hanggang sa naramdaman ko na lang ang huli nyang hininga habang yakap yakap.

How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful? Painful lang [textspeak!] first 12hrs. Hapon ako nanganak. Kinaumagahan pinatayo na ko ng OB. Pinaglakad lakad.
How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where? 3rd day naligo na ko. 2 to 3wks halos wala ng sobrang sakit. 1month lang ako nag belly support
How was the Bleeding (vaginal and incision site)?mabilis nagstop yung bleeding sa may incision part since  nagpalit agad ako ng gauze. Para daw mahanginan yung sugat. Matuyo agad. Vaginal bleeding naman, medyo nashunga ko sa part na to.. kala ko pag CS di na duduguin. Mygod! Hahahah! 3wks lang wala na.
How did you cope with the bleeding and pain? For the pain, mas masikip na girdle mas OK. Pag wala nun feeling ko malalaglag lahat ng nasa loob ng tyan ko. Feeling na parang may mahuhulog. Parang may mabigat.
Was it painful to breastfeed? Since naka belly support nga ako, hindi masyado. Pag lang naka side lying, dahan dahan ako pag tatagilid sa first month. Mga sumunod keri na.

How did you care for the incision? Takot ako basain. Kahit sabi na ok lang. Pinupunasan ko na lang ng alcohol and bulak. Pag daw may humapdi.. meaning may bukas pa sa tahi.
Did you use belly binders right away?  If not when? Yes the morning after. YUng kulay blue na generic sa hospital. Tas bumili na lang ako sa labas.
What underwear did you use? Yung malalaking maluluwag.
How was the scar tissue?  (Keloid, very visible, etc.) No keloid pero para akong may pouch. So sad about this. Laki kasi tyan ko.

Anything you wished you did or have during and after your CS?
Any additional advice for would be CS moms?

Sana umpisa pa lang nagCS na kami. Para di na ko naglabor ng 12hrs. Kung elected CS sana.. mas masakit pa para sakin yung labor kesa sa operation.

2nd timer with CS

How you prepared for it? (Emotionally, Physically, Item wise)
-- Honestly, because of  my experience with my daughter, mas ginusto ko mag CS ulit. My first born was through emergency CS and although my OB said we could try normal delivery, naisip ko kase baka mauwi na naman sa ganon. So with this mindset, prepared talaga ko emotionally. Ang drawback ko lang is mas matagalan ako makapag work out ulit.

How did you have it? (Elected or Emergency)
If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS?
--- Elected CS. Takot ako mag labor pains

How did they close the incision?  (staples, suture, etc.)
-- no idea

How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful?
--- When the anesthesia wore down, migosh, sobrang sakit. 9/10. Pero nakalakad pa din ako same day.

How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where?
--- Mga 2 weeks mostly because of the colder weather. What bothered me more was the body pain. My back hurt like crazy, I developed Carpal Tunnel like symptoms on both hands, my boobs were hard and sore etc etc.

How was the Bleeding (vaginal and incision site)?
--- incision, I didnt even get to clean it myself cus nung follow up check up ko, my OB used Aquacell to cover it and it lasted for 1 week. After non, wala nang cover.

Vaginal, I was given suppositories to control the hemorrhage cus ang baba ng blood count ko. I almost had to have transfusion.
My bleeding lasted for a week then it was just intermittent brownish blood for about 3 more weeks.

How did you cope with the bleeding and pain?
--- Tight binder is the key to success

Was it painful to breastfeed?
--- OMG, yes. Nashock ako because breastfeeding my first child was super easy and seamless. Dito, mag sugat nipples ko and latching was super painful pero tiis talaga. 3 weeks na naging ganon.

How did you care for the incision?

Did you use belly binders right away?  If not when?
-- Yes. I bought 2 Wink binders and 2 girdle binders from Inay Moments. I wear them round the clock. 2 weeks after delivery, I can already wear my pre pregnancy high waist shorts.

What underwear did you use? -- mostly high waist undies. Mas comfy.

How was the scar tissue?  (Keloid, very visible, etc.)
-- My OB thought magke keloid yung incision but I was insistent na hinde ako keloidic and wala din ganon nung una long CS. True enough, no keloids nga.

If you are a second time or more mom did they open from the same CS site? -- yes, slightly longer lang now cus baby is bigger.

Anything you wished you did or have during and after your CS?
-- none that I can think of
Any additional advice for would be CS moms?
-- Don't baby your incision. Try to move around cus it makes for a faster recovery too. Buy high quality binders, it really lessens the pain and will help you get back to your pre pregnancy figure (if it is a concern for you) faster especially because we can't exercise heavily just yet.

Its been a long time since coming back to this forums.  Life happened birthing and all.  I have now come to share my birthing experience. 

Yes I can say I birthed my daughter via Emergency CS.

How you prepared for it? (Emotionally, Physically, Item wise) 
Not prepared. 

How did you have it? (Elected or Emergency) 
Emergency

If you had a choice ,would you have had Normal Delivery instead or still go with CS?
Will probably still go with CS.

Horizontal (Bikini cut) or Vertical Incision? 
Bikini Cut.

How did they close the incision?  (staples, suture, etc.)
Sutures, then tegaderm film.

How was was the pain level in a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful?
For me since I have high tolerance to pain about 6.  The most painful part is when I need to get off the bed to pee.

How long did you feel the pain (weeks or months) and where?
1 Week then I guess I got used to it.  I was already making rounds at my hospital room 1 day after surgery.

Walking not staying in bed.

Not really.  Maybe because I used a breastfeeding pillow.

Just followed my doctors advise.

Yes right after birth until my doctor advised to stop using it.

Maternity panties.

Not keloid yet hopefully it won't turn keloid.  Scar is just below the bikini line.  It looks like a purple reddish line now.

My CS experience was an unexpected experience.  I had to give birth at 32 weeks early due to being a high risk pregnancy.  I didn't have any diaper bag or birth plan done at all since I did not expect to give birth yet.  So for soon to be Moms my advise will be to make sure you talk to your doctor to ensure there are no complications with your pregnancy.  If you have a family history of high risk pregnancies, let your doctor be familiar with it.  Plan and prepare ahead so you won't spend a huge amount of money and be forced to decide what to do on the spot.
