re: Vivoree's gown, ang take ko naman doon nung medyo late na at wala pa yung gown, sana kumilos kilos na yung stylist at team nya para gumawa ng paraan. From what I read nag iiyak daw sa sulok yung stylist. Quick thinking lang, sana nag pull out na ng mga clothes, and tama kayo mga sis dapat may spare gowns na nakahanda or nanghiram sa mga kapwa stylist na lang.

Si Kim Chiu talaga magaling mag dala ng damit. Never ko pa siya nakita na pangit ang suot niyang gown. Lagi siyang kasama sa best dressed.

Tricky talaga ang Modern Filipiniana theme, because while it seems like it gives you 'freedom' because of the term 'modern', but really, people still expect to see 'Filipiniana' with its delicate design and conservative cuts...

Anyyyywaaays,  I like how Bea and Maymay's overall look pushed the envelope on the theme - gotta love 'em risk-takers, and keri naman nila.  Ball would've been so boring if we just got more of the expected. Hehe.

Really liked those who found the sweet 'middle' - Nadine, Kim (although yes, that bottom part was errrr...ummmm, pero keri naman nya so okay na din), Kathryn, Maja, and Jodi (it was simple but she looked so elegant).

Not a fan of Liza's outfit maybe because I expected more. Hehe. Nakita na kasi natin yung ganoong silhouette and design, almost similar pa nga kay Maymay and Kristine Reyes, and parang the other two (for me ha) carried it with more panache. She did look beautiful, though always naman.

Personal favorite ko though was Ylona Garcia's look. LOVE how she's glowing in it, and that it still looks comfortable. The gown still evoked the Filipiniana feel, with the sleeves and even the fringes,  but it definitely had that right touch of modern para fresh sa mata (which is also just appropriate for her age).

Nakita ko lang sa IG, mas maganda yung yellow ballgown na suot ni Andrea Brillantes kesa dun sa mismong suot niya sa red carpet.

Si Dawn Chang ata yung nasobrahan sa modern Filipina vibe. Kita yung panloob sa haba ng slit. True yung pagkaka-discribe na halffilipiniana halfswimsuit. Di ba masisita yan ng National Historical Commission of the Phils? Halos hubad na siya.
