Horrible experience with Lumina Homes

I bought a house and lot unit in Lumina. The site is in Bacolod City. When I first examine the house I noticed a critical defect on the concrete slab of the top floor. My uncle is a carpenter and he helped me run the checks. Using a laser level, we found the right side of the floor slab was 4 inches low. We called the engineering staff of Lumina Bacolod and they ran their own checks and confirmed the construction defect.

With that customer report,  I think had infuriated the project head engineer. He never spoke to me but yet waited for the time I'm not around and confronted members of my family and to the unlikely happened - he ordered the guards to evict my family from my own house!

With the cursing the furious threats, my family did not resist the guards.  Too afraid to get harmed. Wood lumber got hurled to our walls by the engineer.  My family was escorted out of the subdivision!

When the news reached me I got so angry. Called my lawyer right away. This will be a legal battle. I'm sad for my family to go through the situation. Such is a horrible experience.

OMG! This is just not acceptable considering you are the home owners. That is terrible thing on what they did to your family and to your own house. I hope the developer back you up on this and not only fire that head engineer's ass but also strip off his license. I wish you success in your battle and hope justice is served.

^^Shocks. Nodoby deserves that kind of treatment. Ang kapal ng mukha, sila na yung mali sila pa yung matapang. At sa ganong paraan pa talaga. Good thing you didn't stoop down on that engineer's level. Agree with sis ^, report him to PRC. And since you talked to your lawyer na, for sure irereport na rin sa HLURB yan.
