AFAIK, Gabriela supports the SOGIE bill.

I personally do not have issues with sharing changing rooms with trannies. I have been quite open with my gay friends with my body parts.

What I am concerned of is this being abused by perv men. Those with perv mentalities could really go as far as dressing up as women to get into women's toilet and raping women, worse, children. It really is the security I am concerned with because once we have this, it can be abused by those with evil intentions. It is not the trannies I am concerned of, it is the evil men.

In some cases nagiging lalaki din talaga sila and talagang by nature malakas sila.

Nawala yung nabasa ko kagabi about an FB post. But I will respond, regardless. We understand, of course of what the intention of SOGIE bill is. Di naman tayo mga walang common sense.  What I am concerned about is how the lawmakers are going to write it and how it is going to be implemented. That's the trickiest part. For instance, as a parent, how are you going to deal with tantrums of your gay children without being called homophobic? I mean, it is complicated enough to navigate being parents. Kung paano mo pakakainin, dadamitan, where to get money for school and stuff. Now you have to worry about losing custody of your children because of this. And don't tell me that is not going to happen because it is already happening in other parts of the world. There's even a case in Canada where the court told the dad to basically just shut the F up because he was against his minor son to take hormones to transition at a very young age. He is not against him being gay, the dad is just saying to wait til they are of legal age. Thankfully, I don't have that problem but I feel sorry for the families that will be affected if the lawmakers aren't careful with this. And we know how dumb our intelligent politicians and lawmakers are, right? LOL!

So for me NO talaga.

It's all about them pushing superiority over others regardless of what gets trampled on along the way. I find it ironic that they scream for equality and freedom of speech yet when others oppose their views or think otherwise, they brand them as homophobic right away. They call others bigot but who's the real bigot here? Si Gretchen Diez ayaw mag compromise na gawan sila ng CR nila talagang she's pushing for using the women's bathroom. Pakelam nya sa mga mothers na concerned for their daughters who use the same area. Bakit walang pakelam? Eh no matter how many hormones you take, there will never be hormones that would give them a mother's instinct. Ayaw mag compromise ng karamihan sa kanila, so what do you call that diba? Equality ba yan?  ::)

doc: sir, you have...
trans: IT'S A MA'AM!
doc: ma'am, you have a testicular hernia

No to SOGIE bill din ako.

Susme.

May nabasa pa ako na 'I feel like a woman, so I am a woman'.

So Heart Evangelista Escudero supports SOGIE BILL. Naintindihan nya ba talaga kaya ang magiging epekto nun? I hope na-explain ni Chiz ng mabuti since sya ang may knowledge when it comes sa paggawa ng batas.

^^The LGBTQ population is apparently just around 5% of the world population. But they are probably the most vocal. There might me some cases of physical harm done to gay people but not that common. But it's not like they are the only oppressed people. More women have suffered, more people are marginalized so it's not like their are the only group that have suffered. I mean, ilang mga pangit ba sa Pilipinas ang hindi pwedeng maging receptionists even though they are very much qualified to do the job?

However, we don't really know how many Muslim gays are. Dun sa kanila talaga may threat of being gays because of their rather violent religion. What the funny thing is that the LGBTQ is silent about it. They are only gunning the Christians. They want to force Christian clergies to marry them. But they won't say that to Muslims. Funny di ba?

^Well, if that's Heart's stand okay lang. She can have her own opinion.

The Supreme Court has rejected the bill for same sex marriage as of yesterday.

KVAN, that's true. A lot of executives and leaders are from their group and they are esteemed and well respected. Nasa kung pano din kase nila nire respeto sarili nila and how they conduct themselves socially. Pero pag mataba ka, pangit, or may kapansanan, diba mas nadi discriminate sila? Yet we don't hear them whining away all day everyday, instead they deal with it.

I have a previous officemate who is not yet trans but dresses like a Female, as in he wears dresses, sexy dresses.

Lalaki pa din siya at the end of the day. They might as well have their own restroom na lang instead of making other feel uncomfortable. Im not homophobic, i have gay friends, but at least sana naman alam pa din nila yung boundaries nila.

Parang diniscriminate din nila ang PWD kasi ayaw nila gumamit doon, privilege kaya makagamit ng pwd dahil no need to line up na pagkahaba haba. Best example lang ang c.r sa issue since time will come gusto nila ng gender neutral toilet and it's a big NO for me. Kung sariling c.r okay na ba?

I read this from a shared post of my friend who is an advocate of lgbt and who supports the sogie bill. I have read the explanations about issues that were raised but I still dont buy it. Why am I still feeling uncomfortable with the idea of this bill? After reading every explanations she wrote, it still a NO for me.

Wow. So now we are being preached to. 🤔😏

I do not pretend to be a good Christian, but since you brought up the topic of God, let's bullet the facts, shall we?

☑ God does not hate? Wrong. He DOES. He HATES sin. He loves sinners but He will not let sin go unpunished, contrary to the transgender gospel you preach. Invoking God's name does not change reality.

☑ We are limiting His power? Again, wrong! YOU are limiting HIS power and HIS wisdom by questioning and altering HIS original design of 2 genders, of the exclusivity of marriage between man and woman.

☑ Love accepts? Ah, the blanket argument. Rejection does not equate to hate. You push the false self-serving narrative that rejecting transgenderism is hate but it is not. Those of us opposed to it take this position because we believe in the natural order of creation, not because we hate transgenders. We believe gender is a matter of biology and not preference.

☑ Making people out to be hateful and intolerant for believing in nature's original design makes YOU the bully, the predator. You clamor for the validation of society by advocating bills that will become laws--laws that will force the rest of the general public to acknowledge your "gender", but your arrogance and self entitlement will only make people resent you more and create greater divide.

Transgenderism has been more than tolerated in the Philippines. It is embraced even in a predominantly Catholic country. Transgender celebrities and popular TV shows openly celebrating the transgender lifestyle are proof of this. But you want more. You DEMAND more. You want to rewrite the rules. The rules of the land. The rules of biology. You expect unquestioning acceptance of your self-appointed gender. You want people to abandon reason, beliefs, convictions, and values for YOUR own sense of acceptance.

You cannot expect to enjoy the same rights as natural born women because you are NOT a woman. And a large number in the LGBTQIA at least have the sense to acknowledge this. Many transgenders have the self awareness to know that their lifestyle is a CHOICE and even distance themselves from your propaganda. Not all transgenders deal that victim-of-discrimination card every time their feelings get hurt. They know which CR to use because they RESPECT the general public, and for that they have my respect.

Let's look at this from a logical--a COMMON SENSE perspective:

If identity is a matter of choice, then the same logic follows that it is discriminatory for governments to demand visas or any proof of citizenship before allowing admission within their borders. If I self identify as French, is the government of France then obligated to acknowledge my self appointed citizenship in the name of tolerance and acceptance? Should I then be allowed to vote in their elections? Would I be then justified in calling them bigots if I am denied entry into the country?

No.

You, Gretchen Diez, feel entitled to MY rights as a woman just because you feel like a woman and live like a woman. But even surgery will never change who you are...who you were born as...a MAN. Deep down YOU know this. The person you are really trying to convince with this outrageous crusade of yours is yourself. And you think convincing--more like guilting--us into accepting you as a natural woman will finally validate who you pretend--and can only ever pretend to be...

It will not.

^Perfectly said. I also read another post, one made by The Keyboard Warrior about Bigotry. It's a good read, perfectly sums up this $#itty sense of entitlement that some members of the group are imposing.
