-tinatabi ko un mga samples sachet ng mga toiletries...para pag travel yun na lang gamitin
-I bought two and a half yards of silky fabric then ipinatahi ko un gilid so it forms a malong, lagii ko dala in case ginawin or kulang yung kumot sa hotel/airbnb...
-dala ng mga ziplocks in varying sizes kahit mga 3pcs in case may need ilagay like basang damit ganun...
-in terms of clothes, reversible is also a key, I bought reversible jeans from Freego na black on one side then washed gray on the other..so two jeans na agad yun...

With regards sa malong, parang may ganito ako pero shawl siya na malaki. Mas ok nga ang silk since magaan lang.

-Dala ng mga 5 pcs sipit for undies. I wash everytime I'm done taking a bath para hindi matambak. sinasampay ko sa bathroom.
-Also, helpful din ang bubble wrap for fragile items na bibilhin like perfume, glass, vase

Use packing cubes for organizing items in my luggage. then i cover it with a large towel/bedsheet or place the cubes in my large dust bag. i had an experience kase na may dinukot sa baggage ko also, if in case overweight yung luggage ko and i had to transfer stuff, pag-open ko ng bag di naka-expose yung undies ko

i bring trash bag to my trips so I can use as hamper and dump clothes for laundry. Or I can also use for purchases that i don't want to check-in (ie. designer bag that is still on its original box). Bring extra packaging tapes too.

I carry along my purse's dust bag, so I can protect my purse if I need to place it under the front seat during flight.

I bring my luggage scale (mini digital) to know if I had bought too many pasalubongs that caused my luggage to be heavy

I love packing cubes too!

To add, i unscrew the cap sa bottle ng toiletries ko then put plastic wrap then screw the cap back on. Prevents accidental spills. If shampoo or conditioner naman sachet na lang dinadala ko para tapon na lang after use.

I place shoes or slippers in shower cap or ziplock.

I bring empty water bottle. Just in case pwede magrefill sa airport or sa hotel. Kaysa bili ng bili ng water. Hehe.

Always din ako may dalang scarf sa bag kase it's so versatile. Pwedeng pangcover sa mukha pag mainit. Haha.

Ito naman yung nagpadali ng pagpapack ko sa family namin...

1. Toiletry pouch with hook
-- pwedeng isabit sa pipe ng shower head, curtain rod ng bathtub, or anywhere sa shower area na pwedeng pagsabitan ng hook. Useful din pag swim lang and not really travel.
-- I use small bottles (eg empty bottle ng jnj baby oil) for the shampoos. Pag nakakita ng mas magandang alternative with same bottle sizes, then gora.
-- May pockets for the soaps and toothbrushes/toothpastes.
-- Hindi ko na tinatanggal yung mga laman pagkauwi para sa next travel/swim derecho lagay na lang sa maleta. Refill na lang kung kailangan. Pag nabasa yung pouch, pinapatuyo na lang muna.


2. 2 sets of 6 travel pouches/bags of different sizes (packing cubes pala tawag dito, dito ko lang nalaman).
-- tig-iisang big pouch kami nina daughter and husband. Nakafold yung clothes and undies in KonMari style. Pero yung ibang malalaking damit ni husband nakaderecho ng lagay sa maleta.
-- may pouch for the swimwears and nandun na rin yung sunblock.
-- may pouch din for the chargers and cables.
-- at the end of the travel, pinagsasama-sama ko na lang sa isang pouch yung malilinis.


3. Cosmetic pouch/kit
-- wala akong vanity table or area sa bahay, so dito lang nakalagay yung mga pampaarte ko. So pag nagtatravel derecho lagay na sa maleta. I just have separate set of lipstick, lipbalm, and mirror sa shoulder bag pag gagala sa labas.
-- may compartment for the shave, shave for brows, contact lens stuff, other cosmetics, etc.


4. Thin, absorbent, and compact towels from decathlon.
-- useful pag swim only and airbnb or pag di nagsusupply ng extra towels yung hotel.
-- tig-isa kami sa family. Malapad sya and sobrang tipid sa space. Niroroll lang sya pag pinapack.


I'm thinking of buying

5. Inflatable pillows
-- yung ginagamit sa camping, meron akong nakita sa shopee. Mahal din kasi magrequest ng extra pillows sa hotel, then pag airbnb, walang extra.


6. Laundry bag
-- nawala yung old laundry bag namin, sa ngayon big plastic bag ang gamit.


Makahanap nga ng ziplock na malaking size for shoes and wet laundry... sa ngayon sa eco bag lang nakalagay extra shoes namin, then plastic bag sa wet laundry.

Ay may packing cubes din ako! Very helpful in organizing my clothes and toiletries. Pero hindi ko din alam na packing cubes pala ang tawag haha travel organizer bag ang alam ko 

I also bring unused trashbags - pwede lagayan ng slippers and laundry.

I also bring portable bidet - very helpful. Nabili ko sa shopee.

I'm planning to buy Airbed na high quality. My friend suggested na when they travel with yaya, dun pwede matulog si yaya instead of requesting extra bed.

Try ko din yang sampayan naalala ko nahirapan ako magsampay kasi ni grill wala dun sa tinuliyan namin. Gusto ko pa naman maglaba pag travel para kaunti lang damit na bitbit.

i have separate organizers for ovenights. meron ding separte organizers pag daytrip lang but alam mong need ng set of clothes and toiletries.
OA siguro ako pero for those 3 length of travel,  iba iba bag ko for toiletries, ayaw ko kasi maglipat lipat. dami tuloy bags storage, hinde ako pwede sa minimalist 

for cables and chargers etc, of course may separate bag/pouch for that and rule ko for travel purpose yun, bawal gamitin, pag mag travel , ready na yung bag, one less thing to pack.
 I make a big deal pag kinukuha ni hubby yung cable or charger dun.
pet peeve ko kasi yung mga cable at chargers na yan ayaw ko ginagalaw, pang room, room lang,  bawal dalhin sa sala/kitchen or worst ilabas ng bahay. so same for travel, dapat dedicated for that purpose only.

^Oo nga sis, di ka pwede for minimalism. Hehe ako naman 3 sets of organizers din pero magkasama na yung sa amin ni hubby. Yung panglabas namin magkasama na, separate din pantulog. Yung kay baby, separate din. Pero inaalis ko kapag hindi kami nagtatravel. Yung bag for toiletries lang ang di ko tinatanggal para ready na everytime we travel.

Depende siguro sis sa size ng packing cube niyo, ilang days/nights travel niyo, etc. Mas maganda punuin muna yung isang bag bago magdagdag ng isa pa. Kung kasya na sa isang bag yung sa inyo ng hubs mo, then I don't see any reason you'd separate the clothes, unless gusto mo lang organized or divided yung gamit.

Pre-Departure

1. Currency

Kapag common yung foreign currency (e.g. USD, YEN, KRW), I usually exchange it sa Sanry's or Czarina's. Nagpapareserve na ako in advance. If hindi common, usually nagwiwithdraw na lang ako sa ATM pagdating sa airport. Mas maganda palitan.

2. Detergent

I usually bring a sachet of detergent especially if beach trip. Para malabhan and mapatuyo ko yung wet clothes. Ayoko kasi yung amoy nung natuyo ng saltwater. Hehe.

3. Book as many as possible online to lessen your pocket money on hand. I usually book and pay the ff in advance if available na:

-Pocket Wifi
-Transpo Cards
-Accommodation
-Entrance Fees

4. Inquire as much as you can before booking your accommodation depending on your needs. Ito usually tinatanong ko:

-What's the menu of the free breakfast? May variety ba everyday?
-Do they allow free luggage storage before check in and after check out?
-Do they own flat iron (clothes) & hairdryer the guests can borrow for free?
-How many outlets per bed/room? Do you need a universal adapter? (Altho I usually bring mine)

1. Bring trash bag para sa maduming damit at lagayan ng kalat pag hindi kasya sa trash bag ng hotel.

2. Bring detergent and fab con. Ayoko rin matambakan ng labahan para pag uwi itatabi na lang ibang damit.

6. Kung may extra towel iwrap mo yun sa basang damit talagang makakatulong sya makatuyo also use hair blower lalo na sa walang sampayan na room.

7. Pag adik sa kape at hindi naman maarte much better mag baon ng sariling 3 in 1 coffee sachet. Same sa shampoo at bodywash.

8. Don't forget first aid kit at medicine for headache and fever pati na rin body temperature at mosquito repellant.

If you travel frequently abroad, I suggest you buy a pocket wifi.  I just bought mine on Shopee.  So every time I travel, I just buy a data sim for it.  A lot cheaper than renting a pocket wifi or subscribing to data on Globe / Smart.  Wala pa naman akong naging problema buying a data sim abroad.  I've used it in Europe, US & Asia.  Super sulit.

My credit card is a Citi Prestige card.  Sulit sa mga frequent travellers itong CC na ito.  Perks are:  Free Priority Pass card with 4 guest passes (this alone is worth $400).  Free 2 airport pick up service (but within Asia lang).  When booking a hotel on Hotels.com, 4th night is free.  Though the annual fee is high, nasusulit ko naman.  But I was told by my banker in Citibank that I can have it waived because I have an account with Citibank.

I always check Klook or KKday for promos or tickets that I need.

I check Google Earth to see the areas I want to visit or stay in.  Parang nag occular na din ako 

For plane rides, I have a good eye mask, ear plugs & travel pillow.  Nagdadala din ako ng "mentholated" oils but not white flower.  Medyo scandalous ang amoy ng white flower sa mga hindi gumagamit. 

I laso use a backpack na when traveling.  Mas madali kargahin ang gamit.  I secured it with an anti theft clip para kahit naglalakad ako sa city, di madaling buksan.  I bought those "S" type clips you can put on the zipper of your bag para ma-secure sya.

I also use ziplock as my wallet.  Kahit dito sa Manila, naka ziplock lang money ko & hiwalay na ziplock with my cards.  Pag wallet kasi lalon na yung mga mahaba na wallet, madaling makuha from the bag.  & bulky pa sya.  Yung ginagamit ko na ziplock, nabili ko sa Japan.  It's small & slide type sya.  Matibay & convenient sya gamitin.

At the end of my trip, I use up all my coins in the Duty Free.  Yung kunlang na amount, i use my credit card.  Dati kasi inuuwi ko pa yung loose change.  Less clutter na sa bahay kasi di ko na sya inuuwi.

Recently, I just use my ATM on my country of destination.  I just withdraw money pag dating ko.  Mas ok exchange rate nila kaysa bumili ako sa Czarina.  I've done this in Bangkok, Japan & Korea.

mga sis, ako din mas gusto ko labhan ilang piraso damit para less sa bitbitin, saka I dislike having my undies na di nalabhan agad...so laba laba din kahit undies at shirt...pero di na ko nagdadala ng detergent, ginagawa ko yung soap kong pampaligo, hatiin ko na sa bahay sa 2, isang panligo, isang panlaba, sineseparate ko na lang sa ziploc bags...

-nagdadala ako ng sarili kong spoon/fork (I use tupperware para plastic lang) or chopsticks...wala lang para lang di ako gagamit ng disposable...

-travel tumbler ko baon ko din, pwede sa hot or cold beverage

-laging may pen at notepad na maliit, mahirap kasi manghiram pag mag fillout ng forms

-I use reusable plastic containers for my toiletries (feeling ko lang mas environmental friendly instead of using yung mga naka-sachet)

-Packing tapes/Scotch Tape

-First aid kid (betadine, gauze, adhesive tape, scissors, alcohol, paracetamol, pain relief rub, white flower, pag may kids na kasama cool fever, gamot sa sipon and ointment pati anti mosquito stickers)

-Dry bag lalo na kapag swimming. Hindi mo need ng magbabantay sa gamit mo kasi you can bring your dry bag na habang nasa water ka. Pwede mo din siya lagyan ng wet clothes or lalagyan ng pasalubong.

-Detergent powder naman dinadala ko instead of detergent bar. Minsan kasi parang may smell na galing sa CR or amoy kulob so ibuhos lang sa sahig ang powder at sa toilet bowl then rinse with water nama-mask na yung bad smell.

-Di kami naglalaba pero nagpapa-laundry, babalikan nalang namin sa laundry shop after mamasyal.

-magdala ng extension cord (or power strip, as some people call it). para isang travel adapter na lang ang kelangang gamitin for multiple things to plug, especially if magkaiba yung sockets from where you're from and at your destination.
