Let's talk about our Travel Pet Peeves! Most of these I experienced first hand with my friends. We love them pero minsan nakakairita. Hahaha. Kaya I prefer to travel alone, with my sister or with a few close friends lang.

1. Those who will tell you "Ikaw na bahala" when planning but during the trip passive aggressive ang comments/reklamo
2. Nagtitipid sa accommodation pero demanding naman
3. Magyayaya ng beach trip pero ayaw maarawan or mag-swimming. Just doing it for the 'gram.
4. Sobrang nagtitipid  sa food. Fastfood na lang since mas mahal ang authentic local food.

...yung hindi magdadala ng bag pero ang daming ipapalagay sa bag/maleta mo. And in the end, ikaw ang tambay para magbantay ng gamit habang siya selfie ng selfie sa iba't-ibang travel spots!

...yung ayaw bumili ng pasalubong pero pagbalik niyo, sa makakaubos ng pasalubong na food!

...yung recommenda nang recommenda ng gusto niyang puntahan then pag ikaw na magyaya di aayon sa iyo!

...yung makikipag-meet sa lahat na lang ng kilala niya sa lugar na pupuntahan niyo maski di mo naman kilala at naubos na oras sa kaka-meet sa kanilang lahat!

...yung tabi nang tabi ng resibo ng kinain niyo kase ire-reimburse as per diem if business trip pero nagtipid naman sa order!

...yung pakuha nang pakuha ng picture ng mga awra niya, ginawa kang photographer!

-Yung gusto magluto na lang dun sa accomodation para tipid pero hindi naman tumutulong magluto. I rather buy yung luto na para less pagod kasi vacation nga.

- yung ang daming bibilhin tapos sa bag ipapalagay jusme! 😁

Yung KJ. Ayaw maarawan, ayaw magadventure. Gusto pics pics at aura aura lang.

^ agree about the pics! sakit sa ulo. lalo na kelangan naka-angle pa talaga or artistic or creative. i remember going to a local museum and half the time, instead of getting to enjoy the art, i was taking photos of my friend. i love her but that is the last time we're going anywhere together.

anyway, other travel pet peeves;

1. amazing race. i like a leisurely pace when i travel. i can never travel with people who pack too many things in their itinerary.
2.  walang budget for food. no freaking way will i ever set food at a fastfood place din when i travel.

^Ay same sis, ayoko din ng walang budget sa food. Because I love to try everything! hahaha I don't want to eat in a fastfood resto din when I travel. If I may add, ayoko din ng mga transient places lang to stay. I want nice rooms with a nice view din. Some might say nasa labas ka lang naman lagi pag nagtatravel ka, pero I love sleeping in a comfy bed e and after a long hours of gala, nice to have din sana ang bathtub to relax lols. Pero pag wala, I don't mind basta wag yung tipid na tipid na place to stay.

^^ako din pag nagtatravel kasama ang food sa itinerary at budget. haha. I prefer the local cuisine at streetfood na inooffer ng place.

isa pang travel pet peeve ko yung makapagpic lang sa isang lugar tapos alis na. yung masabi lang na nakarating sa place. gusto ko kase yung naaappreciate ko talaga yung place. i take my time. ayoko ng masyadong nagmamadali.

- crying children whether that be on a plane, train, bus or just about any mode of transport and parents who cannot control their rowdy children .
- Loud and obnoxious adults
- delayed flights
- overpacking or not packing enough

-Sis, when I was single, ayaw ko din ng maiingay na bata and I'm thinking na kasalanan ng parents kasi hindi macontrol yung kid. Now that I'm a mom and I have attended parenting channels and read books about child's development and behavior, I understand na it's part of their development kasi their brains are out of balance pa esp toddlers. Lalo if they become upset na, nagshushutdown yung left part of their brain (logic). Kaya they tend to cry, whine and throw tantrums. Also, may mga kids na may special case din. Kaya lawakan na lang natin ang patience sa mga bata  hehe

Out of topic na.

Going back to the topic, yung mga obnoxious adults din Lalo if group sila tapos sobrang iingay, nakakastress.

^I get that they are kids, I am a parent too, my kid is very good though in terms of travelling, no problems at all.

That being said, I am aware that not all kids are created equal, however, no matter how hard I try to shut my ears and brain  to the non-stop wailing specially on a red eye flight, I just simply hate it, but I have to bear in silence since I do not have much of a choice. I try understand the situation but I still hate it.

Now, if as a parent you know that your child is going to be uncomfortable during travel, at least do something about it and not be oblivious to the people around.

Noise cancelling headphones are a life saver. But that does not change the fact that I still dislike crying babies in any mode of transportation. Headphones just make it bearable. That is a travel hack for me - which I should post in the other in the discussion next door.

I want nice rooms with a nice view din. Some might say nasa labas ka lang naman lagi pag nagtatravel ka, pero I love sleeping in a comfy bed e and after a long hours of gala, nice to have din sana ang bathtub to relax lols. Pero pag wala, I don't mind basta wag yung tipid na tipid na place to stay.

Same! 🙋 kung sa iba ganyan reason dahil mas lamang naman daw sa labas pero iba pag umuwi ka sa hotel room na malambot ang kama at ample ang space. Ako nga may minimum size requirement sa kwarto dapat mga 25 to 30 sqm yung hindi cramp kung mas malaki much better.

^^to each her own talaga. ako naman i don't splurge that much on hotel accomodations because I usually just stay outside at uuwi lang late at night. So I usually just choose mid range hotels. No-no ko talaga ang mga dorm type rooms kase ayoko ng may kashare sa room na di ko kilala. And ayoko din ng walang private bathroom at walang window ang room.

^nakwento lang ng friend ko na may nanghiram daw sa kanya ng Delsey luggage niya. She offered to lend her other luggage daw kase once pa lang niya nagamit yung Delsey luggage niya pero her coworker insisted. Ayun, nung sinoli daw sa kanya is ang dami na daw gasgas. Ok lang naman may gasgas because it adds character to your luggage pero acceptable yun kung ikaw ang gumamit dahil ikaw ang bumili. Naloka ako kase OFW sila tapos di siya makabili ng sariling luggage pero may pambili siya ng other luho. Luggage is a necessity and an investment. Ang off lang may pangtravel ka pero wala ka pambili ng sariling luggage.

Whenever may travel, ako ang laging nagbobook ng accommodations. Pinaka nababadtrip ako is kapag may grabe makareklamo pero gusto eh budget na accommodation. Yung tipong ang gusto e mala-hotel na facilities pero ang budget pang hostels/backpacker. Sarap sabunutan. 

Also, yung grabe makipag-haggle sa locals sa presyo ng tours, pasalubong, etc. I mean, c'mon! Majority sa kanila yun na ang pinagkakakitaan. Parang tulong na din natin sa kanila yun.

-yung mga taong pupunta lang sa place tapos pic ng isa, dalawa, tatlo with angles, then gusto aalis na...

-mga taong magbabaon ng sangkatutak na swimsuit tapos di naman maliligo, or di man lang lulusong sa tubig...pampicture lang kumbaga...meron akong ganyan teammate, allergic sa dagat pero bihis na bihis hahahah with matching hat, sarong, shades at long necklaces pa ang lola, pero ni ayaw mawisikan man lang ng tubig..

-ayaw magtry ng ibang pagkain during travel, gusto kung ano yung mga kinakain sa Manila, yun din ang menu pag nasa travel..

-di nagdadala ng sariling gamit, like toiletries (may nanghihiram sakin lagi ng deo, although di naman nya ipinapahid directly sa pits nya yun deo, index finger nya pahid nya sa deo, saka nya pahid sa armpits nya), flipflops, makeup wipes ganun....umaasa sa puro hiram/hingi kesyo naiwan nya...

-yung ugaling "kaw muna magbayad, pay kita pagdating Manila" tapos pagdating Manila, deadmakels

di ba sis nakakainis... ganyan hehe . gusto ko tuloy regaluhan sya yun tig 1k na luggage sa sm kaso baka maoffend hehe... speaking of co worker ko ang yaman din boss ko sya lagi trtavel di msya maluho travelling lang pero mang luggage yun tig 1 k sa sm di ko naman sa minamaliit yun ha pero minsan daw me instances na sumasabog daw hard case ...

1. Sama ng sama tapos walang budget. Gusto tipid sa lahat. Ang goal lang niya e basta masabi na napuntahan niya ang place na yun at makapagpost sa IG.

2. Magpapa-picture gamit ang gadgets ko tapos kukulitin ako na magpost na or isend na ang mga pics.

 3. Sobrang jampacked ang itinerary na gusto para daw sulit. Pero sa totoo lang parang sinilip lang saglit ang place at nagpa-pic tapos umalis na then lipat na sa ibang place.

4. Walang dalang sariling toiletries. Laging umaasa sa toiletries na provided ng hotel at sa toiletries ng mga kasama. Ako kasi laging may dala kasi nakukulangan ako sa toiletries na provided ng hotel.

5. Hindi naman ako to pero yung mga officemates ko hindi ko ma-gets na nagsusuotan or hiraman ng swimsuit. May mga mura naman na nabibili so sana bumili nalang for hygienic purposes.

Ayoko sa nagdadala ng mga plus 1 especially napag usapan naman na barkada lang. Yung tipong magsasama ng kaibigan "nya" di naman ka-close ng mga kasama nya. Nagsasama ng dyowa pero walang ginawa kundi maglingkisan at gagawa ng sariling mundo at hihiwalay sa mga kasama. So selfish.

1. Mga nagpapabili ng stuff pag overseas travel, tapos mabigat at malaki pa. Napaka insensitive lang.

2. People na hindi marunong sumunod sa boarding sequence.  Tapos tatambay sa aisle.

3. Passengers sa plane na hindi marunong gumamit ng earphones or headset.
