Yung paglike ni Bea sa picture nung dalawa, yes in my opinion was quite a cunning move to let netizens that there has been an issue between Gerald, Julia and her. Malamang somewhat may idea siya na meron nang something fishy sa dalawa. Showbiz is really SUCH A SMALL WORLD. Impossible na walang magsusumbong sa kanya about sa mga galawan ng dalawa. However, we can?t really blame her. Probably it was fueled by her own disgust and broken heart that seemingly nagiging super evident na yung paglabas ng dalawa. Siguro noon, hinala pa lang and hindi pa nagsisink-in sa utak niya. I was cheated on too, and the emotions you feel when you finally had the evidence is like you are being poured with hot and cold water at the same time. Bugso nang damdamin kaya ganun. She was the victim, no one has the right to tell you how you would cope up with your broken heart. I applaud lang na ginawa niya she never blamed Julia nor pinangalanan si Julia during her interviews. She always insinuated Gerald was at fault.

Siguro hindi lang naisip ni Julia na magiging ganun ang reaction ni Bea. She might thought, silent lang ang magiging war nilang 3.

Mali ang ginawa for me ni Julia. She should have never blamed Bea for everything. Dapat sinabi na lang niya there was nothing going on between them and Gerald and people should stop pitting them against each other. Kaso sobrang halatado na sila na talaga ni Gerald, ni hindi man lang niya dineny and went straight na according to the guy, wala naman daw third party.  Worst, naglagay pa ng picture ni Bea sa IG na. Jusme, hindj ba sila nagiisip??? The move is beyond stupidity. Sa halip na magpakumbaba yung tao, lalo pang pinalandakan ang pagkamaldita niya. Minsan totoo yung third party pa ang palaban talaga. Natawa ako sa nabasa kong comment sa post ng friend ko, ?sa ginawa ni Julia parang pinalandakan niya na sa panahon ngayon pantay pantay na daw ang legal at shubet. Pakapalan na lang daw ng face ang labanan.? Lol.

Matagal na ang chismis about gerald and julia bago pa yung pag like ng pics ni bea. Kaya nga nag break kuno ang joshlia at naging mag bestfriends na lang daw sila. Tinanong pa sila sa interview kung si gerald ang dahilan pero syempre deny to death ang 2.

Im sure may alam yan si bea matagal na but chose to keep quiet until the ghosting happened. Tsaka yung pag like niya ng pic ano mang reason niya eh hindi niya kelangan explain kahit kanino, tama isang sis natin siya ang niloko so di niya kelangan maging considerate dun sa 2.

Mali ang pa victim keme ni julia at to blame bea for it. Bakit hindi si gerald ang sisihin niya tutal yung guy ang naglagay sa kanya sa ganyang situation. Dun pa lang speaks volume na, something is really going on between them. Sila pa ngayon ang gusto niya palabasin na biktima dito lol

Julia should just have kept quiet if this is what speaking up is for her. It totally backfired on her and people are angrier than before. Been reading tweets of people who are indifferent or even siding with her before yesterday, but now went to Bea's side because of her post. This has now become such a mess while her whole family has commented how proud they are of her.

She could have ended her statement with the third pic, with the statement "their issues are entirely their own" yet she chose to play the victim card and openly lambast at Bea instead. That is where it went so wrong for her.

When a couple is always seriously fighting, if I were in a similar situation, medyo didistansya muna. Probably, the guy thought wala muna communication, para pahinga muna. Proper break up to follow. Thing is, during pahinga period, si guy got smitten with the new girl, and lumabas ang picture, and ni like ni girlfriend (ex-girlfriend). Si new girl is not in any relationship, si guy has supposedly ended the relationship but no closure/did not do it formally. Maybe he planned to do a formal breakup before pursuing the new girl pero nga naunahan ng paglabas ng picture.

Assuming these are all true, mali pa din si Gerald.  Hanggat walang formal break up, considered in a relationship pa din and anything na gagawin nya specifically makipag landian sa iba, is still cheating.

Public figure sila, at matagal na din si Gerald sa showbiz. Alam na nya galawan dyan. Alam na nya dapat na anything na gawin nya, pwede bigyan ng malice.

natawa ako sa isyu na 'to, pati nanay ko sobrang affected. Sana nag-meeting ang pamilya ni Julia bago magpost at makipag-away sa mga commenters, para consistent ang story nila. Kung malinis talaga conscience niya, she should have sent a private message to Bea and apologize kung nagkamali si Bea ng akala na she's dating Gerald OR kung totoo man, nag-apologize siya and say na hindi niya alam na hindi pa pala maayos ang breakup nila. AND tell Gerald na ayusin niya muna ang problema nila ni Bea before siya bumalik sa kanya.

She's not denying anything from her post, then accusing Bea of bullying her, lol. Oh, well, parang si Gerald lang naman ang feeling winner dito.

i found julia's post really foul. before, i was all, ok, maybe she didn't know. maybe she's innocent. it would have been really horrible to be dragged into something when you did nothing wrong. but this post, na she's pinning the blame on someone who's dealing with her own personal heartbreak-- it's ugly, it's cruel. andun na ako na she's hurt by all the hate but direct your anger at the netizens di ba. or direct it at gerald, who treated both you and his ex like garbage. The Barrettos have a twisted idea about strength and courage. They think fearlessly facing  issues of their own making make them admirable. Oh well. Wala nga naman pala silang nakikitang masama sa pagiging third party or kabit. Just look at the mother. Wala silang hiya kahit may naaapakan silang legal family or wife or girlfriend.

Julia should be upset at Gerald. He put her in this situation. If she's truly innocent, there's no need for the post. Bea did not mention her name. All along, her issue during interviews was Gerald ghosting her. Gerald not communicating with her and telling the world that they broke up. Fine, some fans saw her 'like' a photo in IG but didn't Julia realize that for all we know, Bea just saw it as Gerald being seen with another girl. Gerald being caught again. Kahit sino pang babae yan. Kung blurred man yung face, nakatalikod or side view and hindi recognizable ang features, Bea musn't have cared. All she might have thought about when she saw that photo was it was the last straw. Bea did not point out that it was Julia's fault. Julia's just being defensive and guilty. Her post didn't help at all. She could have kept quiet and let it die a natural death. Like what happened with Coleen Garcia. Even the issue with Marian Rivera-Dingdong-Karylle so many years ago. Quiet lang si Marian. Yung akala ng madami na hindi classy and magaslaw magsalita, yun pa ang nakapag-isip nang tama. Hindi siya nagpakavictim at naglabas ng kung anong statements. Now, people don't really mind since she and DingDong are happy with their little family. Karylle's happy with her husband too. Iilan na lang nakakaalala and walang nanlalait sa kanila. Pero what do we expect from the Barrettos. Ang hilig nila sa press releases like si Dani na bawal daw out of town trips with her bf now husband pero buntis agad. Nakakaloka sila.

Ako nga rin, I initially did not care that much about this issue, nakikibasa lang naman ako dito sa showbiz thread haha, but I was just curious na ang daming kumampi kay bea sa showbiz, so I was thinking, yeah, gerald and/or julia must have really done something shady. Kaya lang di ba sa showbiz, we never really get to know the whole story agad, so inisip ko lalabas din naman ang katotohanan eventually, and that was that.

But julia's post...medyo self-righteous and misguided ang dating sa akin. I don't think she was after clearing any issue at all, she was really out to get bea. The barrettos thrive on controversy talaga.

As you can see nakakareceived din ng bash si Bea sa IG niya but never niya inoff. Like it's her karma pero keber siya. I agree with sis  thebratinella that the barretto's sense of courage is misguided, actually, I'd rather call it twisted. Especially in Marjorie Barretto's eyes na walang preno kahit sino matapakan, kesyo yung mga taong bumuhay sa kanila ng pamilya nya. I'm not surprised that her and her kids act the same way.

With Bea liking the photos, that's her right and others may see it as cunning, bakit ba pag nag like ka ng quotes na about heartbreak, death, or anything else about life, does it mean that's your current situation too? Si Bea yung nasa relationship with Gerald and I'm sure she has all her reasons para mag react ng ganon. Kung tayo ngang public eye lang eh sobrang galit na galit sa ghosting na ginawa ni Gerald plus his past misdemeanors, what more yung direct party involved.

Julia made it all about herself. Sya nasaktan, sya kawawa. She said she refuses to be Bea's victim, eh sya naglagay ng sarili nya sa situation na yon. Dahil a few days ago, ang center ng public outrage is Gerald Anderson, now, it's her. I don't know how many times she can kill herself with her own actions.

I never liked Julia, ewan ko pero even before she seemed to me like this self-centered girl who loves being the 'star' and will do anything to be the star. Kumbaga e nailagay na niya ang sarili nya sa pedestal and that she is over and above others. Then I heard her talk, and confirmed - gandang-ganda at galing na galing nga siya sa sarili niya.

But in this issue, sinubukan ko talagang tingnan yung side nya na 'baka sabi ni Gerald break na sila pero hindi pala', na baka all this time akala nya she was with a single guy. Kaso nung naglabasan na ang accusations, deadma si teh, hindi nya agad nilinis ang pangalan nya. Which is what anyone would do if they are 100% innocent. Kaso mukhang hindi nga sya talaga 100% innocent - so naintindihan ko pa kung di sya magsalita and just let the fire die down. Kaya lang nakow, umiral na nga ang star-of-the-night complex nya and here she is - pointing fingers - of all people, kay Bea pa.

Bea liking the photos may have added fuel to this raging fire, but it wasn't necessarily directed at Julia - just the entire issue of Gerald ghosting her. If Bea really wanted to 'incite bashing' towards Julia, she could have done more. Babae tayo, alam natin yan, there's a whole plethora of ammunition we can bring out when we're hurt.
