Maternity Clothes

Hi everyone. I am currently looking for affordable brands of maternity clothes. Can you please recommend a store or brand?

Mas gusto ko yung mga pants with belly pouch lang. Not really comfortable with dresses. Based on experience, hindi naman siguro yun makakasama kay baby?  Any thoughts on this as well. First baby ko po kasi.

sis, sakin kasi sa mga previous pregnancies ko, same pa din un size ko, un tyan ko lang talaga ang lumaki so di ako nagbili ng maternity clothes, although I lived in jeggings, leggings and oversized tops...di din ako ma-dress na tao...sa Freego, nakabili ako ng Yoga Jeans na ultra comfy at walang zipper, parang malapad na band yung sa --waistline nya kaya pwedeng pwede sa tyan na nastretch ng bongga...this is around 1200 pesos

ako i bought one pair of maternity pants and 2 pairs of maternity shorts sa sm dept store, tapos yung iba sa ukay na ako bumibili. ala lang gusto ko lang, para fashionable pa din ako kahit buntis without spending too much money.

Currently 36 weeks pregnant, hinde ako bumili ng maternity tops/blouses/dresses even if nag wo-work ako my entire pregnancy. Kung ano mga stretchable ko na tops or kasya pa yun lang sinusuot ko. (thank goodness #tipid)

Pero yung pants crucial talaga sakin ayoko ng feeling na naiipit tiyan ko, nagstart ako mag maternity pants around 24 weeks, I bought 1 pair of jeans, 2 pants na pang work, all 3 of them nagamit ko lang hanggang 34-36 weeks ko since maliliit hehe ayoko kasi sobra maluwag sa legs, pero I have 4 maternity leggings na super comfy, stretchable at magagamit ko until 40 weeks and post partum.

I specifically bought maternity leggings, gusto ko yung support sa belly kesa sa usual na leggings na maluwag, sakto yung garter under ng boobs, hinde sa gitna ng tiyan nor sa may belly button. 

Im based in the Middle East, 1 maternity leggings lang binili ko sa SM Dept. Store di ko pa nagustuhan haha.

Just a suggestion, you can buy clothes na for breastfeeding na rin kasi pwdeng maternity na rin and at the same time pwde rin magamit after manganak for breastfeeding

Usually kasi maluluwang ot stretchy yung tela ng mga breastfeeding clothes

Like this thread! Ako rin naghahanap. My sister gave me her clothes. The ones she wore when she was preggy so di pa talaga ako bumibili. I'm on my 20th week and I feel I'll outgrow them soon though (she's smaller than me). I looked up Elin on FB and they just came out with maternity pants. I'm interested and will try to avail of their 25% discount on 1st time purchase.
+1 on the maternity/nursing clothes.

I'm on my 18th week and so far I haven't bought maternity clothes yet. Ang hinde na kasya saken are my high waisted shorts pero everything else, okay pa naman. I mostly have dresses and skirts in my wardrobe so keri pa naman.

On my first pregnancy, I didn't have to buy maternity clothes too. I got a belly belt for my denims din para masuot ko pa din.

til now kasi regular jeans at leggings lang ang gamit ko pati un mga blouse ko lang, medyo flowy naman kasi mga trip ko suutin or long tees...

pag mga 7th month siguro more more leggings or jeggings na ko...ayoko din kasi ng nakadress....although nagde-dress ako minsan pag magpapacheckup lang...ayaw ng OB ng nakaleggings heeheh

Ang mahal ng mga maternity leggings nakakaloka. Ayoko mag spend so much on maternity clothes. Lately, pag gusto ko naka leggings, I wear my compression leggings for workout. Good thing I invested in athletic wear haha. Ang mga kelangan ko bilhin na bago are bras. Migosh ang laki ng boobs ko, para kong bold star hahaha

^sis twelvthgoddess, regular leggings nga lang din sa kin, mga ginamit ko nun nagtry ako maggym (didn't work)...pairing it with flowy blouse na medyo mahaba, para di gano TMI hehe at least butt and front V part are still covered...otherwise di ako papapasukin ng guard kasi may dress code kami...

Hinde kase ako mahilig sa leggings kaya I wear compression pants instead. Most of my clothes are dresses and skirts, I really love to dress up. Most of my clothes kasya pa saken but shorts hinde na, I haven't tried using my belly bands on them pero try ko this weekend.

nun sa first pregnancy ko, may nagturo sakin na isang officemate na pwede pa din naman regular jeans ko but wag isara yun zipper at buttons, then patungan ng stretchy tube top, bale si tube top, nakacover dun sa zipper/button area, hanggang sa tummy part, then saka blouse...it worked for me...bumili ako nun ng 3 tube tops na super stretchy, black, nude and white para depende sa color ng blouse ko...kaya di ako bumili ng kahit anong damit nung first pregnancy ko...same blouse and jeans...

^Pwede naman yun sis pero yung saken belly band yung gamit ko. Yung band, naka attach sa button and hole closure ng pants tapos may cloth sa middle to cover the part na hinde masara. Super useful nga sya especially kung hinde ka naman nag gain ng weight masyado and yung tummy lang ang lumaki talaga.

The downside lang with normal denims, nakakatamad na isuot pag malaki na tummy. This is just me lang siguro since I really prefer wearing dresses and skirts. I bought pala ribbed legging pants from Uniqlo and the fit is perfect and comfy. Hinde the usual leggings na bakat everything but it hugs the right places din. Eto na siguro yung only pants purchase ko during this pregnancy hehe

^Sis twelvth_goddess, maganda tela nyan? I mean yung hindi nagra-run esp. sa tahi? May Uniqlo dito sa Robinsons Galle, pag may chance ako tignan ko din....

Hindi din ako masyado nag invest sa mga maternity clothes, yung mga malalaking tshirt ko yun na lang ginamit ko then leggings ko na sobrang luma na. Hehe.

Sa 1st pregnancy ko, bumili ako ng maternity jeans at shorts sa SM Sucat, yung outlet nila ng dept store dun. Sobrang namamahalan na ako sa 500 petot na mat jeans. Hehe. Pero ang regular price nito nasa 1200. Pwede na din kumpara naman sa 1200 tas sandali lang magagamit.

Nagdagdag lang ako ng ilang pirasong pantaas na binili ko sa ukay-ukay, 50 petot each.

Sis lyrahs, yun nga din ang katwiran ko kaya di ako nagbibili ng mga mat clothes at yung mga regular clothes ko lang gamit ko...sayang kasi after manganak...saka di talaga ako masyado mahilig kasi magdress...so yung dresses na ginagamit ko pag check-up ay mga regular dresses lang din na medyo maluwag lang sa tummy part...or beach dresses at maxi

^^Yup mejo makapal yung tela and it's ribbed too. Madame din colors but I got the black one since it's easier to pair with anything.

Honestly, hinde ako masyadong fan ng Uniqlo because I find their clothes too basic haha. Very girly kase ang style ko. Pero since I'm also looking for comfort now, buti na lang nakita ko legging pants nila. Ang mahal kase ng maternity denims tapos hinde ko na magagamit after sayang naman
