Went to Korea from January 5-15 this year with my daughter. Super nag enjoy kami kasi kahit winter nakapagikot kami sa Seoul without any guide well technically sister ko which is based in Korea but hindi siya masyado nagpupunta ng city.

Walking distance from Seoul station ang Seoullo 7017, Gyeongbukgung Palace, Myeongdong, Insadong, Namdaemun and Namsam Tower (ticket booth).

Sad lang kasi hindi nagsnow nung punta namin but nakapagski naman kami so sulit na din

Will be there early April naman! Sana nga magkita ng madaming cherry blossoms! May I know sis where you specifically plan to go to "hunt" cherry blossoms?

Hello, I read that well known place for Cherry Blossoms is in Jinhae, but its hard to do a day trip from Seoul. If within Seoul, you can see Cherry Blossoms in Yeouido, Seokchon Lake and in palaces.

^Depende kung ilan araw ang declared length of stay. Sa friend ko kasi 4 days lang ang length of stay and 60k current balance niya with 35k adb. Approved naman siya. Ideal budget per day is 100usd.

^^ If unsure sa budget you may opt to declare na lang kunwari 4 days lang stay kahit 6 days talaga.

Why am I seeing some tips na do not put too much money in your bank account? Like for example, a 5-day trip na included sa form as estimated expenses is Php10k/day, so amount in the bank should be around Php50k? But what if you have more than that, like say Php150k? Should you transfer pa muna the excess so it would appear reasonable? Thanks sisses!

^Biglang deposit ng huge amount which you do not do regularly ang ibig sabihin nun. Naghihinala kasi na baka nanghiram lang for show money.

Remember na 3mos statement ang requirements. Kung sa loob ng 3mos walang movement ang account mo or very low amount ang deposit mo tapos a week before na magrequest ka ng statement bigla ka nagdeposit ng 100k, yan ang questionable. So dont do that, buhay na patotoo ang teammate ko dyan. She got denied at yan ang nakikita namin na reason.

For those who applied VISA naman with their husbands and both are paying on their own, meaning no one is supporting the other one or vice versa, did you still submit marriage cert? Or di na need? I'm thinking of still including this just to establish na we're travelling together.

According to the mechanics ng Korean embassy, either original SOA or pinted SOA na certified ng BPI branch ang need isubmit.

1) Any feedback on reli tours?

2) If I'll be sponsoring my mom na housewife, how much money dapat nasa bank account ko? She has her own account naman but maliit lang laman, baka kasi madecline application kung hindi ko isupport.

3) Yung brother ko kakaresign lang, may sariling account din. Pwede ko rin bang isupport?

^Depende po. Sa pagkakaalam ko if PHL-SK-US or US-SK-PHL no need to apply for visa.

If PHL-SK PHL ang route then need mo pa din mag-apply ng Korean Visa maski may US ME visa ka, ang perks lang for having an Oecd visa is expedited ang processing time.

Visa exemptions are as follows:

If transiting only and going to the U.S., Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.  But must not stay beyond 30 days and with confirmed onward ticket to the 3rd country.

Mga sis, in applying for visa. May required valid dates ba yung bank certificate  sa day na mag apply? I mean, sample kuha na ako ng bank certificate this week (Feb 22) pero first week of March pa ako mag apply, okay lang ba? Or may required days ba and embassy within which nagpacertify? Depende po sa duration ng stay ninyo at kung ilang ang budget that you will state on your application form. Halimbawa, you declare na 4 days kayo dun and 30k each ang budget tapos you will sponsor your mom, you will need more than 60k in your account. More than 60k kasi you have to prove din na in case something happens there, you have money for emergencies.

As for your brother, I think it will be difficult since he has no work and kakaresign nya lang kasi baka paghinalaan siya na nagbabalak siyang magwork dun without a proper visa. But better to consult sa accredited travel agencies just to be sure and maybe they can help you find solutions to this problem.

Thanks for your inputs sis meloncreme. Mukhan mahihirapan pala ako. Kailangan ko kasi makasama yung brother ko dahil hindi ko kaya mag-isa mag alaga sa baby ko na mahilig magpa karga. I have health issues, and ayaw sumama ni hubby. Huhu.
