I will be travelling to Seoul last week of March, but need to secure visa first. Sana may cherry blossoms na that time.

I took advantage of the visa promo of BPI and BDO cc. In 3 days I got my visa, multiple entry for 3 years! I went with my friends and they got single entry visas lang kasi they used their ITRs and bank statements. Tip lang saken kasi ng friend ko who owns a travel agency to use the cc as financial docu, more chances of winning daw and assured na multiple.

Winter came in early in KR last year so most probably snow will stop earlier din. Ice starts to melt around early to mid-Feb.

Best months to go to KR are March and October daw. Start of spring and autumn. Will go back next year winter time naman since naexperience ko na ang spring nila. I love KR for their climate, people, makeup shopping and food.

Sis baby_chichay, this is not your first time ba to apply visa and go to Korea?
I also would want to use my BPI gold but first time ko pa lang if ever mag apply. Planning to go there early April!

^ Kami sis, first time visa applicants, presented BDO and BPI Gold CCs, hubby and I were both granted 3 yr multiple entry.

^^was my first time to apply for a visa in Korea last year when I was granted one. I passed my ITR and Bank Statements too but it was the cc that caused the approval daw as per my travel agent friend.

Sabi naman kasi nya 3 reasons lang kya nadedeny ang application for KR visa.

1. inconsistencies sa application form and sa verbal answers ng applicant in case the Embassy calls you (di ako tinawagan in my case). So make sure kabisado mo yung travel dates, place where to stay and amount that you will spend for your travel.

2. Zero travel history (for some) especially females (human trafficking / TNT issues)

3. Zero source of income. (No employment, no visa policy).

Actually mas kinakabahan ako for my sister, once pa lang siya nagtravel out of the country, then yung salary niya sa current work is lower than 20k  Though, may 60k na siya sa bank account and currently nag apply siya ng BDO gold secured credit card.
Sana ma-approve din siya para kasama namin siya ni husband.

for my daughter un ia-apply kong visa from Phils.
resident kasi ako ng  ibang country and hindi ko sya pwedeng i-apply.
so ask ko lang kung sino na naka experience na with same scenario.
pero ako un makaksama nya to travel, sunduin ko sya from phils then korea.

Hi sisses. Pwede pa rin ba present yung BDO platinum card kahit never nagamit? May BPI gold din ako kaso 3 yrs ME lang ata pag ma-approve unlike the former na 5 yrs ME daw. Thanks much!

Pwede bang hindi magpasa ng certificate of active account dun sa BDO CC? Ang tagal kasi ipadala ng BDO, magpapasa na kami ngayon. Ang ginawa ko eh print ng SOA na pinapadala sa email tapos binayaran ko sa bank and attached yung payment slip. May gumawa kaya nun?

Hello sisses, worth a visit ba yun N Seoul Tower? Parang gusto ko to skip it na lang.

^ If you've been to the other tall towers in other countries (Taipei 101, Petronas, Shanghai Tower) you may skip it, however if interested ka to see the Locks of Love, dun siya sa area na 'yun.

Haven't been to Seoul but N Tower is definitely in our list, only because I've seen this is so many KDramas (yes, I'm a fan). Haha. Also wanting to do love locks with my husband here

17k/pax via air asia. December pa ko nag-aabang ng ticket sale, kaso waley pa rin hanggang ngayon. We decided to book na since magmamahal na sya lalo or baka maubusan pa ng flights in the coming months.

Has anyone tried being a sponsor for their parents? Hubby's mother is senior ctizen na and widowed. So we're planning to sponsor her visa.

My parents naman, my father is working and my mom's a housewife. Kahit ba employee si father, can I also sponsor him as additional proof na I will share his expenses?

I have 3-yr ME visa, so separately ko sila iapply.

^hi sis. me! i sponsored my mother for our korean trip. Almost senior citizen na siya that time and housewife for so many years na. I applied for her separately kase dito ako nag apply ng visa abroad where I'm currently working. I provided also my bank certificate and affidavit of support. Approved naman.
